  • Hi" Folk´s great Party !!!!

    nice Greetings from Austria

  • I've been right there in that shop playing one of those wonderful banjos!!!! Arthur is just a great guy all around.

  • Readheadedraincrow,

Thanks for posting this. I also have one of Arthur's banjos and I agree with lobstapicka, he is a great builder. Arthur is a very humble person and will often downplay his picking, but he is also a fine player. I got to hear him pick a few with Chris Quinn when I was in that very shop. It was a real treat to hear those two play together.

  • Thanks for posting, I have one of Arthur's banjos and feel he is the best in the business.

  • I posted this a couple of weeks ago just so everyone would be able to see just how great of a banjo player Arthur Hatfield is. I am the fiddle player, but this is the first time I had really tried to play in probably 20 years. This was in Arthur's banjo shop in Glasgow, KY in October 2006, and was the first time I had seen him in about 30 years. It was great getting back together with an old friend. You should see the banjos he makes!
