  • exactly when apple put warburton in this ad they basically told people to buy PCs

  • After seeing warburton in this ad i bought a PC :D

  • Well, lets think a second about the virus thing. are teh few software-engineers at Apple really better then all engineers that focus on stopping the virus problem? No, they are not. Well, why is it then that Mac does not have a virus problem? Oh, that is right, because nobody want to write a Virus for like 1% of the PC market. and YES Mac`s are PC`s. Deal with it.

  • It's not that there are no viruses for Mac's, in fact, the first malware programmed that was called as a virus was meant for Macs, but the thing is: If I'm a programmer, and I want to make a virus to annoy lots of people, would I write it for the OS that has over 90% of the percentage of computer users in the world, or shoud I write it for the OS that shares the remaining 10% with at least 5 other OS?

  • Its called actually having anti-virus software and not going to millions of unknown websites which are most likely virus infested. To put it more simply a PC is for someone who actually thinks. Mac dose all the thinking for you so you have almost no control. Great ain't it?

  • @TheDogburn yeah, ok, you keep convincing yourself of that. i'm a PC and MAC. I prefer using my mac. I use my pc to keep my skills sharp. repairing PC's pays my bills. :)

  • @WP7User I use Crossover Impersonator.

  • I play hundreds of PC only games on Mac OS X.

  • @MegaCellProductions

    No you don't...

You play PC games on a Mac

  • You see the president isn't some genius or anything, he's the president. Nasa uses pcs, same with any other corporation that involves space.

  • Guess this lady doesn't know how to install antvirus. DERP.

  • @carefulwiththat I guess u never had a F/F member ask you for help with their PC? (im sure more then u can count)the simplest tasks. I wonder if all the MAC haters ever owned a mac. I use both (pc's pay my bills) but when I tried a mac for the first time I was amazed at how everything just works. built on UNIX, no registry. ahhhh, it's so nice. funny to see MX copy things from Apple, but that is the ultimate form of flatery. I don't think people that have not tried the product should be haters.

  • I use PC for the Thousand of games you can play on it.... for me its more like a gaming console than anything else... Mac doesnt have all that comptability with games so I have no reason to buy one

  • @GeorgeX01 if u r a gamer and thats all, no need for a mac.I got tired of having to upgrade to bigger faster to keep up with the games. I use consoles for gaming and my Mac for well, everything.....

  • when someone start critisising others it is usually because they are afraid.

i am not saying apples computers is not good, but if apple move the money from the commercial-budget into their processors it would be a mutch more fair competition

  • IS THAT THE SAME VOICE AS KRONK!? COOL!!

  • i think ill go with mac 2 days later heres your brand new top of the line cheese graater style mac pro you owe us 8500 dollars

  • If these guys walked in for a job interview which would you pick?

  • In the Pwn to own competition, the Mac was always the first to get compromised, ALWAYS. Noobs get lured into a false sense of security.

  • Who is that as top of the line pc? Patrick Warburton?

  • Mac: Hello! I'm a Mac!

    PC: And i'm a PC!

Mac:Hey, PC! What are you doing?

    PC:Oh, just playing some games...

    Mac:What games?

    PC:ALL OF THEM!

  • No one worth giving a virus to uses a mac.

  • @CaptainAlbedoCool Our President uses Mac. You may not like the President but that's certainly more important than any other celebrity I could name.

  • @dragngt I'm talking if, say, I wanted to hack into a corporation's mainframe and retrieve their data. I'm not talking about celebrities. They aren't really worth it either. Also, I'm p sure that the rest of the government use PC's to run official government business.

  • @CaptainAlbedoCool nearly all non-office business, corporate, or government computers run linux, not windows

  • @schmidtbag by nearly all do you mean just you?

  • @Hkmedic i am not a business, corporation, or government. i am not apart of any major business, corp, or gov. as a home user, i do run linux, but note the key word i said was "non-office" computers, meaning, anything that isn't typically directly accessed by people. that being said, your comment makes no sense.

i'm getting the impression that you find my comment hard to believe, and i find it hard to believe that you actually think windows or mac is used in most servers and mainframes.

  • @dragngt president is a derp. of course hes going to use a mac.

  • @dragngt

yes, but he only writes emails and other stuff like that, and when you don't want more a mac is okay,

but for more than media, business and "coolness" mac is not the right OS

  • @dragngt and i bet the president downloaded mac deffender and got scamed :D

  • Comment removed

  • @dragngt The president my use a Mac for his personal use, but for official purposes there's no way they'd allow him to use it. there is no official computer that high up in the government that is a Mac, mainly because of the fact that their built in China and there's no way of knowing whether or not the Chinese government tampered with the computer or not

  • Top of the line pc = big screen, fast, some viruses that can be blocked, (as of windows 7) no crashes. Mac = o screen, decent speed, viruses that you won't think to block, plenty of crashes, obscenely expensive. Top of the line pc running linux = big screen, fast, no viruses, no crashes.

  • Thousands of viruses- Buy AV software for like £50, and dont go on stupid sites, that ur not sure u can trust, and if the processor is fast enough u u wont crash,

ive had my new laptop, for 6 months and its only crashed on me once,

and ive never had a virus on any computer ive owned because imnot a retard, ¬_¬

  • @SSjSylar Nicely said!

  • @SSjSylar I've had my XPS m1530 for more than three years. Crashed once. Kept updates up to date and virus definitions up to date and it's kept running smooth.

  • So this ad is pretty much saying "HERP A DERP I DUN WANT VIRUSES FROM GAY PRONZ SITES IM GONA GO MAC DERP"

    lol

  • that lady is sooo stupid ig she doent now hhow to protect herself vrom viruses!

  • My PC doesn't get viruses. People who get tons of viruses on their PC's are idiots. People needs to stop downloading torrents then they would have to worry about viruses.

  • Man, been years since I had a virus. Or an anti-virus.

  • The mac operates you

  • i would buy a mac from patrick warburton

  • Did you notice how the girl looking to buy the new computer just bought a Mac without knowing the price. :) It's because a mac is more expensive as we all know. And we also all know that when we buy a computer we take into account the price. And there is such a thing as antivirus software in response to the millions of viruses thing.

  • @Artboy2020 there is also such a thing as antivirus not working. and, total cost of ownership which is higher for pc, and repair costs, and sending laptops far away to get them fixed, and crashes, and incompatibility with other parts, and replacing every 3 or so years. why even have to deal with anti virus if you can just get a mac?

  • @glamalana You make a good point.

  • or linux which is FREE

  • aafas afdasd

  • Update: Got A New HP Dv4 With Windows 7 And Its Probably Better Than My Old XP Machine!

  • Macs have viruses (my classmate's Macbook has one) and as for antivirus, Microsoft Security Essentials is free.

  • @TheMotherRick What's the name of it? What illegal program did he install to get it? And do you know the difference between a virus and a trojan? And don't Google it before you answer.

  • I am using xp for 6 years, and im connected to the internet.. only thing that mac fails is the large range of gaming softwares.

  • But with the money you waste keeping your PC working you could've had a Mac.

  • wasting what money?

  • @irlanda516

what wasted money? the only money i had to spend on my pc was the actually cost of the machine.

  • "Thousands of viruses" Methinks someone's been to too many seedy gay porn sites.

  • okay this is annoying. if you want a mac, get a mac. if you want a pc get a pc.

but mac can run both vista and mac osx at the same time.

pc you can customize easily. they balance out

  • I Fucking Hate Steve Jobs For Making Fun Of PC's. So Yeah They Have Problems But Some PC's Like Mine Don't Have Those Problems. By The Way I'm Using Windows XP Love It!

  • Steve jobs does make fun of microsoft, but Bill gates also makes fun of Apple BTW:windows xp is AWESOME but since vista came out i quitted PC`s Now im using Mac

  • No Bill Gates Doesn't Make Fun Of Steve Moms Because He Is A Good Person And I Will Never Switch To A Mac Because I Got Windows 7. Windows 7 Is Such An Upgrade From XP And Vista

  • @OoBitEeAaBitEe No. Bill doesn't make fun of Steve... he's too busy copying the last thing Steve put out. First he copied the GUI, the iPod, then OSX, then the Apple store and now I see "windows" computers on NCIS last night. WTF? Microsoft doesn't even make a computer so why is there one with the Windows logo that looks JUST like a MacBook with the Apple logo on it? Oh yeah! He has to steal Apple's style as well.

  • Comment removed

  • He Might Stole A Couple Mac Ideas But The Always Come Out Different On A PC. If You Can't Handle That I'm A PC Boy The Just Stop Bothering Me!

  • @dragngt I don't remembered MS copying Apple for putting out computers with weak ass outdated hardware.

  • @dragngt -- You know, Xerox came up with the GUI, and there were PLENTY of MP3 players that came out before the iPod. OSX wasn't such a huge leap either, so much as 2000 to XP. Mac users have also been sitting on virtually the same operating system since then, with a few add-ons.

Now, I try and be fair, and I've tried all the OSes out there that are worth looking at for home-use. I'm not a fanboy either, but it upsets me when everyone says "MS copied Mac!" when it's simply not true.

  • @dragngt It's funny that you think Apple makes their own computers.

  • @MaoiMeowi2 Are you trying to tell me that Jonathan Ive doesn't design the computers for Apple? That Apple doesn't order what they want and engineer unibody computers? Because you are an idiot if you think that shit just sits on a shelf somewhere waiting for someone to use it. Yeah, Apple products are assembled in China but that doesn't mean that Apple doesn't make the computer. Prove to me that Apple/Jony Ive don't create their own computers considering they get countless awards.

  • @dragngt Alright, you're an idiot. Assembling isn't the same thing as making. Hey, I assembled this PC I'm typing on right now, but does that mean I made the parts (which is what you're implying Apple does)? NO.

Just like Microsoft doesn't make computers, Apple doesn't either. They ASSEMBLE them.

  • @MaoiMeowi2 Let's try this again. Every electronic is assembled by some form of Asian worker. Microsoft doesn't make the Xbox or the Zune. Sony doesn't make any of their cellphones, PS3, walkman, HDTVs. You are playing on semantics so you can say that unless an employee from the company claiming to make the product touches it then they're liars. Congratulations, you finally learned that the world is manufactured in Asia.

  • @dragngt No. I already knew that. You, however, still seem to be under the impression Apple is "all American".

  • so macs are free of viruses including spyware, adware? ive had my my pc for 2 years and have never had a virus. i use trend micro... is it that hard to keep ur computer free of viruses anyway? sure i get spyware and stuff but it clears it right up anyway. i was looking at purchasing a mac but they seem so expensive. the specs are not any better than a pc that costs almost half the price.. so im wondering why i should buy a mac on the grounds that i will have no more viruses.

  • I'm emailing you.

  • ur emailing me? emailing me what?

  • @pisobarz macs have great customer service, easy to use interface, parts that were designed by the same company, free software updates, less crashes, lest total cost of ownership, longer lasting battery life, and sleek style that many try to copy. ive been pc before, in fact, my desktop is still gateway. but i enjoy using my macbook more.

  • Most people are just to retarded and lazy to actually download FREE virus protection like AVG (my Favorite) people think that symantic anit-virus is a good one but it actually sucks eggs.

  • So how much money do the people get paid who write code for the FREE antivirus software? They have to make a living right? So if they give it away how do they make a profit? How much effort do you HONESTLY think AVG puts into their free product vs their paid product. Because looking at their website it looks like you're missing a pretty substantial amount. No support, no root kit, malware or phishing protection or a firewall. You don't get what you don't pay for I guess.

  • The only reason macs were "virus proof" was that they had limited programs. And nowadays no computer is safe from viruses.

  • MACS friggin suck!

  • $600 PC + $50 ANTIVIRUS = $650

    No hassles,

    No headaches,

    Its a PC.

  • or you can get AVG for a year for free and then when the year runs out download the free version

  • @WiiForDaWin

$1000 + nothing= $1000 powerful computer with less total cost of ownership, newer technology, better customer support, and no need for virus potection.

    No hassles,

    No virus protection,

    No headaches,

    Its a Mac.

  • @glamalana no virus protection sir i have made worms for a mac dont tell me no virus protection thats like not wearing a jacket for winter cause the jacket sales man said you wouldn't be cold this winter no headaches macs freeze up more than a pc no hassles ilife cost money thats stupid when you can get homegroup on windows 7 for free and if you use a windows machine and you know what your doing you wont get viruses

  • Oh my god, what is your issue, some people like macs better than Pcs, get over it. why do you even care

  • It's kind of stupid to say you will get a lot of viruses. If you have antivirus software then you should be pretty safe but not guaranteed. Don't download a lot of crap you see on the internet.

  • actually, we had a pc once that didnt have antivirus software. we didnt download any by chance virus containing software. it got viruses over time and was a mess

  • mac commercials hardly even show their own advantages (which they dont have) instead they just insult the pc

  • there own advantages are what are different than pcs ok

  • Right now nothing whatsoever is working on my mac laptop and I have to do everything I need to do on my PC.

I think it's ironic watching this commercial, because my mac doesn't work at the moment.

  • lmao, well, my mac is perfect ok

  • lol Everywhere I look, I see PC lovers on apple videos.

  • macs are for people who dont know how to use a computer, everything is padded and fenced in, like the user is mentally impaired, because they usually are

  • joe swanson and puddy are the bomb

  • Macs are for people that deal with a lot of media files. Other than that, they are a fad.

    Puddy rules!

  • I don't like Macs but I love Patrick Warburton. Just not enough to persuade me to buy a Mac.

  • LOL MAC fanboys.

Would you buy shit in a pretty box?

    You obviously would.

  • just couse you never build more powerful PC than macs.. )) or.. you have some? X)))

  • @Frienemy05 no but you do.

  • doesn't a mac=personal computer, AKA, PC?

  • yeh but lets just say windows and mac, happy?

  • Wow I can see the PC users have never had a Mac and don't know how true this commercial really is.

Hmmm... Buy a PC that will only last a year or so and then I need a faster one or!

Buy a Mac that sure costs more but I never need to add a anti virus program that detracts from my machines performance and frankly is built in as it should be and also get superior hardware and an OS that's written for it the hardware its run on?

Trust me I bought a PC a year until I bought my mac 4 years ago.

  • Well clearly if you were buying a PC every year you would have one capable of running said anti virus software without a noticeable hit on performance. I only upgrade mine every few years and i am always capable of running the latest games and programs. And im still even then paying a mere fraction of your Macs price. Which the same as the PC, will become outdated with faster Macs. So have fun buying your next overpriced Mac.

  • Ever wonder why Mac owners don't upgrade all the time? Because we don't need to. Our systems keep meeting our needs without need for a new one.

Second I've been a recording engineer for 8 years half with a PC running and half with a Mac. The first four years were hell because of having to trouble shoot a PC every five minutes, Its pretty rare if I have to stop production just to fix an error on a Mac.

Why because they just plain work out of the box!

Enjoy your next door stop of a PC.

  • Then clearly you need to learn how to use a computer. I have been using Windows for over 14 years now. I too record sound, i also edit videos, on top of playing the latest PC games. With little to no problems. If Mac owners "don't need to upgrade all the time", then why have Mac continued to release new machines since they began? BTW, you Mac lot like to say that your a mac, therefore i am a PC. Therefore by saying fuck my PC, your saying fuck me.

  • Probably cause you limited stuff and limited collaboration with other people.

Most of your work is stand alone and no one wants to steal your junk. BTW security competitions in last 4 years- macs were hacked in minutes.

Most "artists" are dumbasses and I have to admit MAC is for simple dumbasses that have limited needs and limited ability.

  • fail apple. fail so hard

  • Im a PC,

    $2000 MAC

    -vs-

    $600 PC + $50 ANTIVIRUS = $650

Who wins now Steve Blowjob? hahaha

  • Damn fucking straight. Not forgetting where are the Microsoft adverts slating Mac? There isn't any. So which company is more mature. Don't get me wrong, these adverts are amusing. But flat out lieing about the opponent is cheap, dirty and very immature.

  • Have you never seen the "Im a PC" propaganda? Fuck your PC!

  • Have ever heard of the internet and the term PARODY? Fuck you too.

  • Wow! That made as much sense as buying a PC...

  • Well i am sorry to hear you are retarded. I hope Apple can cure you someday.

  • BTW I said "Fuck your PC!" not "Fuck you". There's a difference.

  • thats EXACTLY my point.

PLUS macs have viruses now too :P

  • not thousands

  • yes. but not even 1/1000 of that effects ur computer if used correctly, and if u have a good virus computer

  • yes... thousands..

  • that voice was cool.

  • As much as the way the commercial fails. I like seeing Patrick Warburton in any commercial.
