Why is everyone saying the line gun is best for stalkers? When theyt are about i get into a corner, set mines up from the Detonator gun, and laugh as the stalker runs into it. Granted thats the only reason to have that gun other wise its kinda useless.

Tip for the Stalkers: aim at the legs with either the Line Gun's primary fire or the Seeker Rifle's Alt. Fire (which is the zoom mode) to blow their legs off and then finish them with whatever you like. I like to wait for them to crawl until they are very close to me and then headshot them with the Seeker Rifle.

The best weapon I found for stalkers is the Javelin gun, you shoot a javelin at then when either they run at you or just look from behind a crate and then you use the alternate fire to electrify the javelin and it kills them 90% the first shot

For the stalkers just take out your line gun or your force gun, put your back against a corner or wall and they will run, and die, in front of you. They have only hit me like 4 times, and because i was fighting other enemies.

Plasma Cutter is best against the normal Nercos. Pulse Rifle is best against the pack.

I loved the seeker rifle(Sniper)cause headshots with it actual kill the necros.

And for the 4th gun it doesnt matter.

Against the Stalkers, the easiest way to kill them I found out is to use the alt fire for the ripper. It tears their legs off and then you just have to finish them off with another gun. (Never bought the detenator so I don't know how that works out)

but there was 1 or 2 times where it was a combo of those and other necromorphs at the same time and they always made me use my health packs

@Commanderfox945 the weapons he uses are actually tools not actual guns. Except for the Pulse Rifle. So the tools have a better way of cutting climbs off then actual guns. Plus Isaac knows what to do and soldiers don't.

My weapon set is plasma cutter, zealot force gun, seeker rifle, and contact beam. The force gun makes fighting the stalkers a joke. The contact beam is extremely powerful and is the best for the brutes.

A real effective weapon setup is this:

1) Plasma cutter for all standard necromorphs with legs

2) Pulse rifle for the children, babies, and massive enemies yellow points

3) Proximity mines for lurkers and also large crowds of children/babies

4) Force gun for any "oh shit" moment and to give to time to then switch to the plasma cutter for a better aim

If you can aim and weapon switch effectively and know when to use stasis, the game becomes quite easy and a lot of fun.
