  • Are those Condoms in the water!!!?????

  • @mrboymanthing It's an ikelite housing, you can find them at ikelite.com

  • how do u waterproof it?

  • @tubble6 You have to get a separate underwater housing. Depending on how deep you go, it can run anywhere from a few dollars (good for swimming, snorkeling) to a couple hundred dollars (for scuba).

  • Will it take a bag around the camera or can do without.

  • @romanotjuh2 That may work for snorkeling, but if you descend below 2-3m the camera would get crushed in a plastic bag. You would need to put it in a hard underwater case for scuba.

  • @romanotjuh2 you have to get the case wich is like 30 bucks on amazon

  • lol u would be screwed if you droped it xD goodbye camera ="(

  • @45cookie1 That's why I try very hard NOT to drop it :) I have it on a line, bolt-snapped to my wrist gauges, to prevent accidental drops.

  • Umm i have a question before i deside to buy it [[= it is this camcorder can make photos(and if making how the quality?) or just video footage?? thanx [[=

  • @OrinSigus It only does video...you can take still frames from the video to make photos, but the resolution is limited to 1280x720 (< 1 megapixel).

  • what is the songs name? please help.

  • oh my gosh that is a beutiful view!

  • THEY'RE EVERYWHEEEERRRRREEEEE!!!

  • Fettsack!

  • song?

  • Great video.

  • woo there loads of condoms in there and there really big

  • @ethanwwwwws Dude i thought the same thing hahaha

  • Hey, is it easy for you to see your screen underwater so you know exactly what you're filming?

  • @apercussionist91 It's not really that easy - if I'm shooting down or straight ahead, I can see the screen through the housing, but if I aim the camera up a bit, it's pretty hard to see! The wide angle lens helps keep things in-frame.

  • since you had the ring on the flip does it still fit in the underwatercase? or did you take the ring off cause you have the wideangle lens.

  • @d00mgrub Hi, I'm not sure what ring you mean? The flip itself is just bone stock, without any kind of ring; it fits inside the underwater housing. The wide angle lens screws on over the housing (it's a wet lens) and is exposed to the water.

  • shaycarl was at that lake

  • Dude this video is just beautiful ! ! !

You just convinced me to buy a Flip camera =)

  • i know this is a stoooooopid question but when u are first shooting u guys out of the car and the land scape is that from the flip as well? cos its the best quality i have seen from that camera yet!

  • @j1mbafr0sty Yeah, those shots are from the Flip too. The quality is usually higher above-water because no matter how much sun there is, there's much less light underwater and the camera will switch to a low-light mode as soon as you submerge it (makes things brighter but less sharp).

  • do those jelly fish sting you?

  • @bunnieman44 Nope, these little guys were pretty harmless. We do get long-tentacled sea nettles once in a while though, those guys have painful stingers :)

  • how long do the batteries last? like when you take it out on a dive do you usually have to change or does it last the day? thanks

  • @angelbeezy A fully charged set of batteries lasts about an hour and a half while recording. The camera isn't on the entire time either, so it'll easily last long enough for a typical day of diving (2-3 dives). I do bring a spare set of batteries in case I need to change them between dives.

  • lol those look like floating contacts

  • DID U MAKE this? like record

    it

  • @KyraLynnae I did :). I try to record all of my scuba diving and this was a really good day.

  • you need to buy the under water case for it

  • what are those bubblay things under water

  • @KyraLynnae Jellyfish I think - maybe juvenile moon jellies.

  • @d5kenn i like that word MOON JELLIES!!!!!!!<3

  • the UltraHD cam can go underwater???

  • @dulasbotter If you buy either a $30 or $250 housing for it, it can :)

  • @d5kenn Ahh ok thanks

  • this is beautiful!!

  • I like your video and your choice of music for it was excellent. Very nice.

  • how far under water can that go

  • @14dorlan The Ikelite housing is rated to go down to 200ft, but I've had the buttons stick at 100ft so I think I'd make sure the housing is examined and well-maintained before taking it below recreational depths.

  • @d5kenn dude that is great! What editing program do you use, and are those Jellyfish??

  • @d5kenn yeah that case is 250 bucks and the camera is 110 so aah. If your not diving deep just messing around snorkeling what not flip sells a waterproof case at amazon for 35 bucks free shipping. works just fine for me 30 feel free diving and no probs. FYI i would not spend 250 bucks on a case for a 100 camera unless i really dive 30+ meters.

  • @PROIOWAGAMER I agree 100%. The flip case should be perfect for snorkeling, no need for an expensive scuba case in that situation!

  • How can you have a wide angle lens on a Flip and how can you have a wide angle lens on a Flip when in the waterproof casing?

  • @tazdarocker Hi Tazda. I don't know if there's an underwater wideangle lens for the Flip underwater housing. I'm using an Ikelite underwater housing made for the UltraHD - it goes down to 200ft and accepts 67mm wet lenses.

  • this is sick, I want a ultra hd

  • nice shots... LOVE the music in the background.. can someone tell me what it is??

  • @ps4021 Hi, thanks for the comments! I believe the music is "Exile" by Enya.

  • Great Video!

Im thinking about getting the Flip-Ultra HD for my on-tha-go needs.

Do you say it's worth it?

  • @CannibalCorpseXX You cana get the UltraHD pretty cheap nowadays, I think for under $150. For the most part, it's great. Very simply to use, but not a lot of features (no photos, no zoom lens, only one resolution). If you don't mind the limitations, it's great.

  • were those jellyfish at 0:23

  • @Mrdude701 yep, small jellies, probably juveniles, throughout the water column, but I haven't been able to find out what kind.

  • @d5kenn do the jellyfish sting or attack?

  • @MrHaterforyou No, these guys just float there, and as far as I know don't have stinging cells. Some jellies around here, especially the sea nettles, have long trailing tentacles that leave very painful stings if you happen to rub exposed skin around them. Thank goodness for suits, gloves and hoods :)

  • Wow. this is amazing !

  • what editing software did u use

  • All editing was done in iMovie '09, but there was little/nothing done to the clips themselves. I just threw in some transitions and a soundtrack and that's it.

  • this was inpireing

  • Where did you buy it from and how much does it cost?

  • I got it from Ikelite, it's about $260 (steep considering it costs $100 more than the Flip).

  • I'm taking a diving class and at the end of it we get to dive in a quarry! I really wanna buy the case before then so I can film. The problem is it only works at 30 feet.

  • Nice, good luck on your class! The underwater case I'm using for the Flip HD is rated to 200ft depth, but it costs a lot more than the 30ft case from Flip.

  • me and my dad go diving all the time in belize and in aruba

  • Please tell me the name of this song, this is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

    By the way, BEAUTIFUL footage!

  • Thanks! I believe the soundtrack is "Exile" by Enya.

  • cool.. and beautiful music... name?

  • Music is "Exile" by Enya.

  • Thats an excellent camera.. Thanks very much :)

  • Whats the name of the song?

    :(I like the video

  • Music is "Exile" by Enya.

  • @d5kenn

    its as baile... by enya

    not :)?

  • no no no they were jelly fish duh

  • What were those like plastic thingies when you just went underwater??

  • they wern't plastic i think it might of been bubbles. it looks like when i put stuff in my fish tank

  • jellyfish!

  • Yep, Roobsa got it. The top of the water column was filled with small jellies, about the size of muffin tops. I don't know what kind they were, maybe juvenile moon jellies?

  • jelly fish obviously lol

  • well maybe if there were tentacles I would know

  • Truth be told, I tried looking up what type of jellies they were after the dive, and couldn't find a match. I'm going on the assumption that they're some kind of juveniles and their appearance changes once mature?

  • y does that suck thats awesome
