dave, i just figured that as they were going round and round the same few blocks of downtown LA, and the bug kept on cruising down the hill quite slowly, they actually did pass it several times, just further and further down.
the bigger mystery is the third yank tank that kept pulling out of the side street, and still managed to get in the way later on out on the open road...
Yeah, great car chase, especially when the fastest car is the green VW that gets passed 4 different times. It had to be the fastest, it got in front of the Mustang 4 times. ha ha.
How did you people not see that, the biggest blooper in movie history.
