I agree that promiscuous sexual behavior is risky and even irresponsible in some cases, but religion tells you it is sin and therefore evil, and you were born a sinner. Which makes you evil, and that means nothing when promiscuity is in fact a human impulse due to lack of maturity. I think it is more productive to educate people with facts and information, to gay and straight people alike, rather than using illogical fear to enforce ones misguided principles.

@lacygene to me, forcing is when you have to tell somebody they are wrong for their beliefs and life style. if you tell somebody God hates you, well, thats just wrong, as God is SAID to be an all loving and forgiving god, a huge contradiction. if he wants to preach on the street, why not ask them if they want to hear then say:god Loves you, instead of saying he hates you and will send you to torment, even though he loves us all

@DefendYourRights1 i acknowledge the possible existence of God, but its the mind frame of hate and the fear of God i can never accept. and i HAVE read it, i was RAISED with it. i was raised by a preacher, which i recall mentioning somewhere here, and i have many memories of hate sermons. this is what i grew up with: no God loves us all, but God hates these people. so i have my reasons for being as i am, and i have my reasons for saying what i say and believing what i believe.
