a waterspout is a weaker tornado that forms over water and i am not sure what causes it

its just a tornado over a body of water, and sometimes makes fish fall from the sky....

what sucks is when you are out on the skyway fishing pier at night then suddenly you hear it...... and you are like oh S**T and then it just passes by in the middle of tampa bay... and it dissipates... we even had one touch down when we were driving past Lake Thonotosassa

You have to love the waterspouts here. The only time they can be a bit too "interesting" is out on the boat. And people say we don't have seasons here!
