  • It has absolutely nothing to do with your son or any one else overloading .honestly you just want to blame someone ,blame yourself for buying a cheap appliance at a big box store!

  • Your washer was not manufactured by may tag it's an amana product ! The tub seal leaked into the tub bearing and it is now beond repair

  • Mine has the same problem, and I confirmed it was the drum bearing.

  • Yes im sure it was that drum bearing My son over loaded this washer a few times when i wasn't home. The poor dryer would barley turn I had to make him take half of the cloths out. Hes older now and knows better.

  • Sounds like the drum bearing is bad.
