Doesn't matter what happened, if the 911 caller says it was like this, they just go with that without even checking.

They have to. If someone calls 911 saying a man has a gun they cannot walk over and ask him calmly they have to act first and ask second. It is for their safety and others.

I went on a call like this to arrive just as they were all leaving, the guy on his knees holding his face.

I can only imagine all the motherfer's that came out of those mouths to an innocent party.

No attempt made to find the guy who wanted the cops to do that to the guy. Seems like revenge is only a 911 call away...

"radioReporter01" - I hope that if you ever need to call 911 (hopefully not), the Police respond in the fastest way possible. Every call is taken seriously, and the 911 operator designates which calls are genuine.

I call all the time for others, part of my mandate. I don't carry a gun and have no EMS training.

If you think they come right away, you are very mistaken.

If you think it is only nthe 911 op who determines what is a fake call, wrong again.

Sometimes it is a very real call and poorly given and the cops don't go on it.
