I second the shit out of that. Too bad there will be no other game like Xenogears ever again. It's kinda like the dwarves from Legend of Drizzt: they can only make a legendary weapon once, and they're skill in forging will decrease significantly afterward, and they'll never be able to produce another one. Shtoopid Squaresoft, breaking up into Square Enix n' stuff. Now they make shitty online games. The 'free to play' kind. T^T

@EpicTaco9001 I dunno, looking back on it I didn't like Xenogears all that much. I tried playing it again last year (I beat it once before) and got up to the point where Fei meets Rico and quit from boredom. I personally think Parasite Eve was Square's best game.

Anyway, Square kinda had to merge with Enix to avoid going bankrupt after The Spirits Within bombed. If they hadn't they probably wouldn't even be here today. I agree most of their post-merge games have been "meh" though.
