Dana was beautiful, intelligent, funny and normal comared to the other LWordLaydies. They wanted to show that it could be you or me or your sister. Exactly. That was heartbreaking. And it's true too - eventually we get over disappointments and relationships coming to a close, but when the love of your life dies on you...you move on because you have to, but you never get over it. You have to shut that part of yourself off before you can move on. Alice was never the same after Dana died; I don't think anyone can ever have ALL of Alice again.

Whats all this about her returning in season 6? Maybe Ilene decided to throw in more ghost Dana since her audience were furious about her death and this scene was so popular, with the actresses and with us. Also, 'you'd curse a lot more too' is probably about the fact that she's dead, that Alice would be cursing more if she were dead. I felt sorry for Dana when she was lying there =(
