forge is crap and far cry 2 is more powerfully then forge. however forge is simple. (far cry 2 is simple but not too simple. this means more depth to the editor)
Why did someone thumbs-down my post about those person shaped objects being spawns and not AI? It's true, anybody who's played a FarCry game knows this.
But you can't exactly compare them. Forge is a map editor. Far Cry 2 has a map creator. Very different but Far Cry 2's seems like the one to beat now.

The first editor was terrific, even on xbox. Good lord... the size of the map you can make... cities.... wow
Only problem I had with the first was that its hard to make an original map that looks good... if you don't really work hard you get an ugly, out of proportion map (thats why I want spore). But the potential for OTHER people to make outstanding stuff is tantalizing enough. I might actually get this game.... just to screw around.
