Get a hold of David Bray amps on his website and listen to his sound clips he explains how he achieved that tone you ask of somewhere on his site. And he will probably tell ya how to get it if you ask him. Its near perfect its uncanny that and his great brown tone marshall mods.

spring reverb sounds how it sounds because of the reverb recovery circuit, not the pan itself.

i mean, the pan contributes, but not a whole lot besides decay and stuff.

an amp can have a very well built quality pan and the reverb can sound like garbage because of a poorly designed reverb circuit.

that's not the point of the pedal. The boost compensates for a perceived loss of volume when reverb is on.

The reverb effect itself is obviously digital, but the mix, feedback, tone and level controls are analog.
