  • I'm not exactly sure what your malfunction is. Your either didnt get enough attention from mommy...or someone slameed you headfirst against the sidewalk many moons ago. Whatever your problem is..you are a complete douchebag...one way or the other.

  • you need just enjoy the music. to play blues or any other kind of music, you must be human, doesn't matter if you're black or white.

  • listening to this beautiful duet, while reading some discussions below, made me laugh so hard that I am going to have a better look at these confersations. peace

  • anyone who says that you have to be black to play the blues is racist against whites, and ya thats possible

  • guys really need to just chill out and enjoy the music.

  • @badasschill ok ok so i over reacted. my bad!!! actually my best man at my wedding is my best friend and he is black. i call him my nigga all the time. but why are u so hateful towards buddy guy which is a black man??? and john mayer both very talented? u cant tell me this isnt a good cover of this song man. lets be realistic. why dont u post something u can do well and then u can comment on my vids how bout that until then.?????? i got one thing for ya.

look up John mayer trio - out of my mind..... they jam.

  • @badasschill IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT the THE BLUES!!!! you would know everyone who plays guitar or ever played guitar ripped off licks from someone else. there were few who started the blues. Robert Johnson, Blind lemon jefferson, and a couple others. so otis rush freddy king albert collins all them ripped off someone else. u cant patton a guitar lick. if that was so you would run out of licks. . ps eric clapton and john mayer both white and can hang with anyone them.

  • @badasschill apparently u dont know what good music is. what are u some poor ass nigger living on welfare ???? get a job u filthy piece of shit. i seen ur gay ass fuckin video of some shitty ass lizard u call ur friend since u dont have real friends so suck my cock u fuckin grease ball. we play the blues cuz we like it. not cuz we wanna impersonate some black guys. not all white people are country. yeeehaw buillshit. and by the way ever heard of SRV ?? he was white too and by far one o the best

  • @badasschill u suck

  • I think I actually prefer Michael Grimms version and I am a huge Buddy Guy fan.

  • I wish Warren Haynes could have participated in this. That's the only way it could have been any better

  • OMGWTFBBQ.. MY BRAINS.. They are all over my living room..

  • For another awesome version of this song go to " Michael Grimm Dreams to Remember."

    Great blues singer.

  • @sorter30

Absolutely, Michael Grimm knocks this out of the park.

  • @Rndy09 Otis Reddings version is untouchable

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • horns from come back to bed? :P

    Otis Redding yeah! :D

  • This is a great remake of the song. It doesn't capture the same thing that Otis Redding was able to capture, but it's still great and maybe a little better in a different way.

  • it's almost surreal seeing the pictures of mayer and buddy guy. two completely generations coming together and playing pure music. you simply don't see that with any other artist besides john mayer

  • @malintesky03 You got that spot on.

  • @malintesky03

    it is a wonderful thing!

  • @malintesky03 Ahem! Buddy guy perhaps?!?!?!?!

  • @malintesky03 - Exactly. There's just no musicianship any more. The louder the better to make it on the radio. John Mayer will be the exception to the rule in this current century of shameful music.

  • @malintesky03 Actually, I "simply" do. Jack White and Loretta Lynn?

  • great version

Toots & the Maytals have an excellent version, as well

  • Buddy & John Make A Great Musical Duo!

  • i think so too

  • much better than original i think

  • @stellaraid44 WHOA DER. i worship john mayer, and i worship buddy guy. But Otis Redding......jesus, the man defines soul.

  • @filthychimp03 I agree

  • Buddy & John take this song

    down the "Blues Highway."

  • COOl !

  • i think its an amazing duo-great song

  • nothing like the original ...... but this is an awesome version

  • amazing!

  • Really feeling this one. I have always loved this song Otis Redding Version is awesome too!
