Nice..... ;-) and thanks for the email too.. and yes to your question we buy and sell gold and silver and have tons and tons of coins for sale! and buy coins, and antiques and currency jewelry and more yes. see our youtube channel or our online store,
AWESOME FINDS!!!! Where do you do your research to find the areas you hunt? That is an extraordinary amount of silver. I am in Texas, and I dont have anywhere near that kind of luck. Congrats keep up the good work, and happy hunting!!!
Losing a dollar back in 1921 is like losing about $20 - $25 today. And that's roughly the current silver value of the coin now. Finding 317 silver coins in one year, that is amazing and makes me want to get a metal detector and start hunting, however I live in Florida and the soil here is quite sandy.
@219erman Where do you detect? I started in parks. Lame. Then I got the nerve to knock on doors and ask to do yards of old houses. 1920's and older. I have the best luck in yards. Usually ask to do the front. If they give permission, I will then ask to do the back. Yards w/slopes in front give up a lot. If you are not doing yards of occupied houses, you are missing out. I'm in So. Oregon. Houses are not back to the 1600's here. Where are you? daviddaveinternational@gmail.com for pics of mine.

I was metal detecting a few years back and dug a coin spill out of the ground in what looked to be a crown royal bag.... i kept pulling, and there was more cloth with coins. I found a dead person buried with change in his pocket, I called the police and they investigated the whole incident. I havent been detecting since...
@1LimaUniformLimaZulu Look at it this way, You put somebodys grief to rest. IM Sure someone out there needed closeure on what happened to or where was that person. Excellent find. I Know It may have disturbed the hell outta me also. But I dont think I would stop metal detecting because of it. And IM Just a Beginner. So far I have only found 1 coin, a Dime. And I scratched it when digging it. but its a new coin, not more than 30 years old.
@bentleyboy58 ..If I have a RARE collectable coin...I just rinse with water & pat dry..ThereFore (Gradable)...The common (UnRare) coins..I clean with baking soda /water paste...For eye apea in my collection..maybe ungradable...But I don't plan on spending $45 to grade a coin that is worth less than $100...I could still sell those that are worth less than $100 ,that I cleaned with baking soda on ebay for graded value tho..I just won't clean a RARE coin. Thanks for taking the time to comment..Dave
@dapappacn you know that.. gold is ~1200 a troy ounce and silver is ~30 is 40 times as much so 1/40 times as likely a find or 1/4% so for every 40 silver he finds he should have found 8 gold coins, but it is all luck ^^.

@219erman So it is OK to clean the silver coins? I see alot of youtube vids that say not to clean the coins but I guess if it is just the silver content you want it doesn't matter? Plus, who want's a dirty coin? I know I don't.
@zekehooper If you clean it, it should only be to remove dirt and foreign debris. Never clean a coin to remove tarnish, as the tarnished surface protects the silver underneath.

Good collection. I started with a Jetco Mustang bought in the NAVEX Gitmo
in 1974. No one in Gitmo had a metal detactor. I made out like a bandit! Thousands of
coins and so much silver I lost count. Sold it when the Hunt Bros inflated silver.
When I hit Norfolk I bought a Garrett Money Hunter, then a TR Freedom 1.
Norfolk in the 70s and 80s was a coin shooter's dream! I've still never found
a gold coin, though. Good luck in your future hunting.
