Top Gear USA is improving alot every week. It's rather unfair to try to expect a show in its infancy to be the show that has been running for 15+ seasons. And the British versions first season wasn't any great spectacle, either.

Isn't the saying, “Everything is bigger and better in the US”..I think the least people can do is give the show a chance in the US...I understand the British tend to be a pompous, deprecating group of people that seem to find the negative in everything in life, but it is a far cry to think that the country that produces the majority of big budget shows and movies can’t reproduce a show that already reels in a large portion of their viewers from the US.

Top Gear USA will be shown on the History Channel next fall(2011) but in my opinion it will be an utter failure as I understand it they must follow the Top Gear format to the T. Most importantly, the 3 hosts do not possess TV personas

Screw American broadcasters. Who needs them? You can download TopGear the same day it's broadcast in the UK from any torrent site on the internet.
Put it on a USB memory stick, stick it in your PS3 or XBOX360 and the quality will be very high. That's what I do.

@wickedcobra Yes, the History Channel has picked this up. First episode aired on Nov 21, 2010. It will be every sunday at 9 pm. Thank god they got rid of Adam Corolla, or else the US version would be really annoying.
