Amazing too, that it was only in the last two years or so that he lowered the key of some of the songs ( like this one) to avoid strain. Even in 2004-2005 he was singing in the original higher keys. And being well past 60 years of age.... It can't be said enough, truly a fantastic singer and a freak of nature vocal-wise. We miss ya brother...

Thanks for reminding how fun Sabbath was to see live. I never saw them with Ozzy which I am sure is fucking amazing but this tour was fucking spectacular and one of the best concerts ever.

Dio is definetely good i'm not gonna lie but Sabbath will never be the same without Ozzy. He was and always will be the heart and soul of Sabbath.

Dio Sabbath--totally different, and equally good (actually superior in many ways) than the Ozzy Sabbath. But really, two different moods, different sounds. Dio is just in a class by himself, and seems to have gotten better with age. Ozzy was at his best with Randy, really.

i agree with you. dio has gotten better with age. the man is 67 years old and sounds more powerful than ever before. ozzy was great during sabbath, but like you said, his prime was with randy. i think ozzy's work with sabbath was more influential than his solo career, but his voice was best during the randy era. from bark at the moon, and on, it just went downhill. i think he sang GREAT during sabbath. but like you said, randy era was his prime. i think dio is more powerful at singing than ozzy.

Dio did a wonderful job in "replacing him" but still,for me Black Sabbath will always be a synonym of ozzy osbourne(dont get me wrong,I think Dio rules too,in fact,I'm gonna see Heaven and Hell this year)

From what I've read it's because he was pressured that he kept the "Black Sabbath" name all these years.
