The medical staff is more afraid of the responsibility than the health of the ppl. Why the hell the medical staff has to sign a agreement for any side effects the patient may experience when they don't even manufacture the vaccine? Gullian-Barre Syndrome can occur in many vaccines especially influenza shot.
The doctors and nurses are stupid too if they say H1N1 shot is bad for the body. It is all about responsibility. What a coward Dept of Health!
I think you are misunderstanding what the news was saying. They are not requiring the medical staff to sign an agreement to carry on any responsibility should there be side effects. The news was just saying that they were asked to sign a disclaimer acknowledging the risks of receiving the vaccine for themselves.
