i understand it may just be the competition tv quality of things but i hateeeeeee how they keep lookin at the camera. it COMPLETELY takes away the pure joy that over comes most swing dancers faces when they dance. if you just took out the entire back ground and left the dancers, i would have thought they were figure skaters.

overall im just not feeling this at all. THEIR GOOD!!! i mean they really are, but compared to some skilled college kids at a small school competition, they dont compare.

Taking nothing away from the huge talent of Tori & Brenner and their ability in this dance....

For me this does not look much like the WCS that inpired me to take up this dance and sorry...but hate the track that obviously makes the dance as it is :((

@Sugarfoot108 A Showcase routine does not need to be West coast swing. A showcase routine has to be a style of swing and the style that they both as better at is Shag and thats why they won. They used clean Shag and west coast in their routine. And yes the music make a good routine but the moves also have to go with the music which they did Beautifully in this routine. They allow people to see the music from their eyes.

I've heard that Torri Smith is the first person in the history of US Open to win both the Classic and Showcase at the same time.... Classic with Benjie Schwimmer and Showcase (this video) with Brennar Goree.

@pouncer84 Never! Torri's first time competing in both and she dominated them both. Also danced in more divisions than anyone else at the open and placed in all of them. Second in Cabaret with bang bang, second in teams with the southern dozen, and 5th in wcs strictly with arjay centeno. She's only 18 and she's already this good.
