@ bradman158 at a seminar I attended ( and graded under him) in N. Ireland he didn't do any breaking but 4 sum reason he kept back fisting the ( solid concrete wall) every 2 minutes lol it was very loud lol
@ billysue2 yeah I agree wit you cos I know 100 percent your right I don't hav a degree in nothin but any martial artist interested in breaking will know wot u hav said
My instructor told me that GM Rhee's hand is very big that it's like giant hand and like swallowing my instructor's hand when they shaked hand at the first time.
I, myself, feel that my instructor's hand is already very big. But GM Rhee is much bigger. No wonder as the guy has trained his fist for 40 years everyday.
is your instructor mr dhanda by any chance ? i did taekwon do with mr dhanda for years and i lived a few doors down from grand master rhee the man is an utter legend i used to go running with his dog sasha as he asked to do it and i cut his grass for him too .......hes a man of few words but what he says always makes sense this brick demostration is like nothing to him lol
@billysue2 Actually your wrong. By conditioning you consistently break the fibres in the bone which then heal bigger and more dense. Over time your knuckles and general bones do get bigger.
@asterix187 no I'm not,so there! Actually Ive a degree in anatomy and physiology and I think I remember how bones are remodled under physical stress and it doesnt include breaking fibres(there arent any fibres in bones ,theyre cells),They get more dense but not bigger, the enlargement in knuckles is callous formation and even skin thickening
He dont hurt his hand. Have you ever seen his hand?, Training Taekwondo is useful to make your hands (and forearms, foot, mind...) stronger. If i dont hurt my hand when i break, he dont hurt. Hes a great master. Dont say "im sorry to those of....", you havent got idea.
mate u dont know shit..Rhee Ki Ha was my instructor's teacher and has practiced the arts for over 40 years that alone gets respect in my book! my instructor told me R,K,H used to brake inch thick ply wood with his finger tips and 2 finger press ups at nearly 70 years old ! he's a legend, go back to watching WWE biatch! no one cares wat u think..

I saw him do this at a seminar in Leicester in 1997. He just gave the brick a casual little tap with his ap joomuk and it was broken.
WolvoExPunk 3 years ago
Seriously for him it really is easy, he has fantastic power and technique
And if he did hit you it would be like being shot from a gun

It sounds like a gun went off lol.

The best thing is how Grandmaster Rhee makes it look so easy!
zenpixel 3 years ago 6
@zenpixel thats because it is easy when your hands are toughened,he put little speed in that punch and used no sine wave bullshit.
