Honestly, thats a bad habbit thats preventing many people from becoming pro, because your pistol is a side-arm, you dont really need it so you dont really notice it. It's a hard habit to break for ANY gamer that has it. But i feel that in the world of battlefield, pistols actually shoot bullets, unlike in cod where its like it shoots a metal rod that says "bang!". So actually playing bf3 will sort of improve the use of side arms. You probably wont read this wall of text, but whatevs!

When defic knifes a DICE guy, the victim's dogtags will have the word "DICE" on it. Pause at about 0:10 and you'll see "DICE" on top of some guy's name in the primary dogtag.

@TheForgottenViet You can collect dogtags by killing people with knives.

In Battlelog you can choose how your own dogtags look like. You get more dogtags by unlocking certain things or by collecting them from a guy you killed with your knife. After that you can use it as your own dogtag. It's basically just for fun and for showing off.

Some dogtags display some of your stats, e.g. an M416 dogtag displays how many kills you made with this weapon.
