@That1LonelyJew Patton was very foolish in that case. And it was Churchill's idea to invade the soviet union, not only making an enemy but losing a powerful ally that without them, the allies would have lost the war. You can see why Churchill was booted out of office a short time later.

It was impossible for the Axis forces to even make it to the Urals, Taking Russia was impossible due to logistics. During the Battle of Moscow 1941, T-34 tanks crushed the Axis advance, Red Army troops from the East drove the Axis back and defeated the Axis, Just like 1940 during Battle of Britain they failed!

Hitler wanted the British as Allies, but we refused to withdraw from Poland. If Hitler had the British as Allies the Germans and Axis would have endless resources,man-power also the United States who would have sold anything to make money and bankrupt countries. Germany would have strong Allies and a BIG chance to win the war against Communism!

@shinotora1X The germans could have let the russians in stalingrad starve and run out of supplies. considering the luftwaffe had control of the air. no supplies were getting in. they should have bypassed actually fighting in stalingrad. they were unprepared for winter. The germans could have easily just waited till spring and ressuply but still cut off stalingrad's supply line. Stalingrad was a more improtant city considering it sat right on the Volga. To them it was an great city for supplies
