You can't blame people for distorting it considering some of the actions many people take in the name of Islam. Whether it is in the religion or not is not the point. The point is the religion is dangerously heading towards serious inter conflict between reformists and Islamist's.

Fatah (or I should call him Fateh as he would bring Fateh to humanity). shows the problem with fundamentalism in Islam and how it needs to adopt to modern society. The mullahs and likes of CAIR spreads hate and fundamentalism for their own benefit. If only more muslims like Fatah existed who thought of bringing muslims and thus islam to the modern world.

@itsztruth What are you talking about? I fail to fathom how you can be a Muslim and embrace secularism. There is no such thing. The Muslims that need to stand up are the one's who make an effort embody the Qur'an and Sunnah with wisdom and do his/her best to contribute to the secular society he is living in rather than having a narrow mind.
