Thank you very much! This mostly came out of frustration from not creating the FFVII remake a lot of us have been dying for, while Squenix mechanically churns out half-assed spinoffs and sequels to every other FF in their franchise that nobody really wants.

But thanks for appreciating this...As long as people enjoy the work that went into remaking a decent scene, it was worth it. :]

i'm a texture and graphic artist. this is about a year or so old, so i'm taking that into account.. i think you should re do this. dont use milkdrop. and dont tell me you didn't. and dont tell me you used poser. and please dont tell me you used a mac. i'm old enough to remember when folks used powerpc's to put a whupin graphics wise on x86 personal computers.

i highly recommend you go back and do this again. in my stupid humble opinion.

This is amazing. I have to say, you must have put a lot of work into this. I've tried to to things like this, meshing different clips into one, it's very hard. lol. If SE every remade this scene with the CG they have now...I think I'd cry harder than I did when I first saw the scene in the game lol

It really would be great if Square Enix remakes for PS3. This scene is what i would be the most interested in, the only part of a video game that made me angry but calmed down with Aerith's theme while still letting me whomp on the Jenova. Now for something to play with your emotions like that is just masterpiece.

my main crit is that he looks like he's gonna slice her in half not stab her... can you get a clip where has his sword drawn but not slicing or make it look like he's drawing it right before/as he's stabbing her or something? pretty sure you can find a suitable clip. same thing for where you see their faces as he lowers her into the water she looks a little off.
