Shayne Fenton, I will always be surprised by him and I never get tired listening to him Hope his fans have a very nice Christmas and a Happy New Year all the best, BRI - DAR
i can remember driving through rochdale in the late seventies maybe early eighties and there was a painting of shane on a gable end of a house , local lad you see, like myself a, moody guy !
hi winemeister, yes you are right Shane Fenton became Alvin Stardust, although Shane Fenton was not his real name, that being Bernard Jewry I believe. The original Shane Fenton (Johnny Theakstone) died at the age of 17.
Eden Kane of course is a different guy and as you say Peter Sarstedt (Where do you go to my lovely) brother.
Brandyandcoke, I hope you're not saying Eden Kane was Alvin and Shane. Shane became Alvin later on, eden Kane was Richard Sarstedt, Peter and Robin's brother. But Eden wrote this if that's what you're saying.
i remember them playing this on saturday club around 1961, millions use to listen to saturday club back in the 1960s, as soon as you got on that show you became a household name
Excellent, beautiful and moving. Thank you.

This group is excellent. And their songs were produced by George Martin and recorded in Abbey Road. Need more?
