I wish this film had English subtitles. It looks absolutely brilliant! I've seen clips from so many seemingly wonderful Russian historical films that we never get to hear about in the West. Such a shame. I, for one, would pay good money to see them subtitled in the cinema or on DVD. Thanks for posting this video anyway!
Formidable...Celà fait trente ans que je n'ai pas parlé russe, mais avec des acteurs de ce talent, j'ai pu suivre sans problème... Pavel Lounguine est un génie! J'ai vu beaucoup de ses films en salle..Malheureusement on ne trouve pas facilement les DVD de ses films...Impossible de les revoir et de les montrer à ses enfants... Merci ptilaki.
