i like the idea but it doesnt give a certain amount of water so 1 coin will give u half the water and the next, just a drop. so its not reliable.

This is very well done. It reminds me of a Roman vending machine-they actually had terra-cotta pots like this where the weight of the coin would lift an internal stopper for a few seconds, allowing the Roman to get a cup of water. when it ws empty, the contraption would be shaken out to collect the coins, and refilled.
