@ParanoidToaster It seems like they gradually made him taller and taller since those damn movies came out since Hugh Jackman is tall like 6ft something. I thought Hugh Jackman was a pretty cool Wolverine even though the movies were not so great if you grew up reading the comics and watching the series from the 90's. @xxAkitoandSanaxx I don't know, there were some interesting ideas, a good cast, and some great characterizations (Nightcrawler, Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Mr. Sinister, Magneto, etc) but the writing was very hit or miss, the team dynamic wasn't defined very well, most of the X-Men weren't really fleshed out beyond their cipher roles, episodes like "Code of Conduct" & "Breakdown" were just plain dumb, Storm had no characterization while Cyclops' had a very poor characterization.
Am I the only one seeing some hypocrisy here? Apparently it's okay for Wolverine to hit on Jean & Cyclops is the bad guy for getting mad, yet with Emma having a thing for Cyclops is a horrible crime & Jean is perfectly right to punk her.

So if the story doesn't make sense to what you've already read/watched, then think of this as another x-men in another alternate reality.

I'm just sad that they (once again) translated the story, but decided this time to drop the meaning of it for the sake of New Age Fan Appeal. A good story needs no tweaking and doesn't deserve that "water downed turnship". This style's okay to use, but have some potent interpretation for Cryin' sake.

@breaksystembse It makes sense: Magneto knows he can't compete w/ the power of the phoenix, He's scared because the sentinels are now capable of tracking down every mutant, they would've been used later on in the series & the team usually split up headed by cyclops or storm. I wish everybody would just think things through before ranting.
@kakuichi - I running on their character type from a long time coming. Magneto has not been known to cause something, having a panic attack then run, but then again, I know this is another branch of the main stream. The reasoning behind my rant is far more complex and broad.
@kakuichi - However, this type of story writing seems to have the series ending as one big train wreck that everyone just stares, which to me "degenerates" the meaning of the X-Men's story. jean's an omega, or class 5 in this series...meaning she's the most powerful mutant you can be. she just didn't remember how to use her powers when she had amnesia and fell like 30 stories and passed out in this episode. next season should be better...especially with a dead emma.
I respectfully disagree. I think Jean is attracted to Logan but she loves Scott. The problem with this show is that it is too similar to the movies. It reinforces the idea that Jean does like Logan equally or more than Scott.

@breaksystembse the marvel universe has had MANY MANY MANY MANY versions of x-men already, ones in comic books, series and movies and each x-men is set in an alternate universe. So if the story doesn't make sense to what you've already read/watched, then think of this as another x-men in another alternate reality.
trust me, marvel has done this TONS of times now.

@ezalor2510 - I am WELL aware of it having grown up with some of their best/worse feats and coming to understand the difference between fandom and fanatical justice. I'm just sad that they (once again) translated the story, but decided this time to drop the meaning of it for the sake of New Age Fan Appeal. A good story needs no tweaking and doesn't deserve that "water downed turnship". This style's okay to use, but have some potent interpretation for Cryin' sake.

@breaksystembse It makes sense: Magneto knows he can't compete w/ the power of the phoenix, He's scared because the sentinels are now capable of tracking down every mutant, they would've been used later on in the series & the team usually split up headed by cyclops or storm. I wish everybody would just think things through before ranting.

jean's an omega, or class 5 in this series...meaning she's the most powerful mutant you can be. she just didn't remember how to use her powers when she had amnesia and fell like 30 stories and passed out in this episode. next season should be better...especially with a dead emma.
