  • how far can i get with the fan that comes in the box?

  • @darkangel294 not very far, you'd be suprised what a huge different a $40 coole/ good thermal paste makes. If ur thinking of o.c'ing get a cooler, then you will not have to worry about temps as this'll be the last thing you'll want to concern yourself with when overclocking. There are far more perplexing issues to snag on such as voltages and memory timings. If you want to try oc'ing on factory fan go for it, just watch your temps, most BIOS will shut you down anyway at 100deg.

  • it's stable... I ran this seting from 2 -years ago! Noctua NH-D14 @ 42°c on GTA IV or Crysis ;)

  • Hi I want to overclock my CPU (2.66GHZ I5-750). I want to get to 3.4 Ghz. I bought the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 heatsink. My setup: ATI 6950 2GB, 4 GB DDR3 1333 (Corsair), I5-750 2.66, Corsair GS600 (PSU) (+12 V = 48A).

I want to know how should I set the BIOS parameters. Thanks for your time.

  • @Crysis2ful try the default 1,8125v, vtt should be default, or 1,15 if not stable,

I can do 3,6 at 1,2v, but because of 4 sticks of ram, have to go 1,2 vtt

  • what is the max Vcore u should use for this CPU?

  • sad.

  • why switch on turboboost? ur cpu runs @20x210=4.2ghz and turbo boost sets multiplier to 21 ON 1 CORE right?. So cpu-z showed 4.4 ghz at 1 temporarily turboboosted core . i dont saw a 4.4ghz quadcore cpu. Enbaling turbo, enables speedstep and the cpu slows down all the time.

    My I5 runs all 4cores @ 20x200 @1.3875v vcore and 1.234v cpu pll

you fry it @ 1.42vcore1.31v PLL... dude this seems like a good movie for a laugh when you found out how to use the pc thing right. gigabyte board different?

  • me 4.5 ghz 1.42 no stable (:

    4.3 ghz 1.40 stable

  • me 4.5 ghz 1.42 no stable (:

  • This is definitely fake i5 750 doesn't have hyper threading

  • Would this work on a GA-P55-USB3 mobo?

  • Yea I have a big trinergy mb that stays extremely cool and a giant thermaltake cpu cooler with a push pull system and good air flow in my case and my i5 couldnt run stable like this so do prime95 and see how many errors there actually are.

  • @dekoz2 ?? dude im asking about something and i really need and answer today ;)

  • Hey man im gonna overclock my cpu but i wanna hear what you are gonna say about this "i5 750 normal cooler and overclocking to 3ghz" is that good or bad ;D?

  • gigabyte ftw

  • 1.4v :O jesus

  • sry wrong post whit fake, it's a i5 750(i was see 2 OC in the same time) but that voltaje are really to much, and when do OC disable C1e state, c6/7 state, thermal monitor, eist function and bidirectional prochot.

  • it's a fake, it's not a intel i5 750 because i5 750 doesn't have Intel Hyper-Threading Technology maybe it's a i5 650 or i3 (bought have 2 procesor whit Intel Hyper-Threading Technology), whit voltaje 1,425 and Load-Line Calibration will extra voltaje the processor at about 1,47. Intel specify at i5 750 voltaje are from 0.65 to 1.4v. If you try to do a Over Clock like this guy you will SURE BURN THE PROCESSOR

  • what MOBO are u using?

  • I am sure it's not stable at all.

  • you are lying...i5 doesn't have cpu multi-threading..so fuck off!

  • would these settings be okay for an i5 650?

  • Useless overclocking

  • I got my i5 750 to 4.1 ghz with the intel stock cooler.

  • post a video of prime at this speed... thanks

  • is this cooler Zalman CNPS 10x Quiet?

  • Hey I know this song it is in Need for Speed Underground 2 :)

  • what mobo is this?

  • @nawaz2kx It won't let me post the link but i got it straight offf the intel website. I'll PM it to ya??

  • Did you try prime test for 8 hours ?

  • have you had some crashes of the os?

  • which gigabyte board are you using? i've just ordered a core i5 750, Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 and 4gb corsair dominator 1600mhz ddr3 memory. i already have a h50 cooler. hope to reach at least 4ghz.

  • P7P55D-E Lx vs P55A-UD3 ?

  • Sure, it's booted at 4.4Ghz, but was it stable?

  • and now linx+furmark...

  • Intel actually says the max temp for the i-series processors is 99c. So in the 70's is actually ok.

  • you're running 2000mhz ram on stock voltage? what is the stock ram speed?

  • what cpu cooler is that

  • PLS start prime 95!

  • Name on song?

  • Mine is running at 4 GHZ, with Corsair H50, cpu volts 1.38750 Qpi volts 1.230, and CPU PLL volts at 1.88 it is very stable and will easily go more, running prime 95 it hit like 78c, the i series are good to 99c. I had it to 3.7 GHZ on factory air cooler running prime95 and it hit 97c. Very easy to OC this CPU and very stable with P55 boards. Its cheap and you can make them fly.

  • @denniswilha1 NO!!! they should never go over 72c. NEVER!!!

  • @vitamincracing dont know where your getting your info from mate

  • Hello. how do I know if intel turbo boot is active. I i5 750 2.66? help

  • @Crysis2ful

For Gigabyte Mainboards: (i have one)

In the Bios: Motherboard Intelligent Tweakter (M.I.T.) -> Advanced Frequency Settings -> Advanced CPU Core Features

  • @Crysis2ful get cpuid it'll tell you what you are running real time

  • this system I beat wasn't even stable

  • my phenom 965 gives stable performance 4 GHZ on air. i5 750 doesn´t even at stock speed.

  • great temp , what is your cooler

  • why does my intel motherboard not allow me to overclock???i can only change voltage!!!

  • put a ZEROtherm CORE92 om that pupy and its max temp at MAX load will be 74C.

i have mine at 4.6 Gz and in a nzxt beta evo with all 6 fans and its runs at a nice max temp of 69C, im just waiting to get 2 GTX 480 femi's and get those in sli and im ready to go :D

  • @metaleater9 lmfao 2 480's is da shit

  • run prime95 and watch it catch on fire

  • Complete waste! It is not stable. Even if it was stable, it will surely die in a year or two.

No point in going over 3.8. It's not noticable and usually creates extra heat and noise.

  • So was that stable?

  • doubt it LOL

  • GTA IV :D XD

  • dats ok considering u didnt prove it was prime stable

  • Will Asus P7P55 Non Deluxe allow overclocking? My current asus board P5LD2 VM SE SUCKSSS!! Doesn't allow overclocking!

  • i think it does but i just ordered the Pro and its a great overclocker

  • this overclocked works for you need to set the voltage to 1.360V and not 1.310v

  • name of song plz

  • is air cooling noisy with the cooler? I heard.

  • i% is way cheaper if you wanna build a cheap gaming computer

  • i5 why not get i7 you only live once HAHAHAHA

  • i5 is a lot easier to over clock, it also has a better turbo mode multiplier, uses less power, more reliable stock voltages.

if you knew anything about computers you would know the only difference between them is the 4 virtual cores from HT than equate to little more than a slight gain in clock speed

  • @SFhelper if you knew anything about computers both the i5 and i7 are easy to overclock. And hyperthread makes a more then "slight" gain on high loads.

  • hyper threading is a gimmick and the i5 750 is insanely easy to overclock..... i got it to 3.7 on stock voltage and 4.1 with turbo enabled without any effort.

  • @SFhelper overclocking in general is very easy I dont see how any overclocking with iseries, amd or any other cpu could be hard. You keep saying easy , easy ,easy all overclocking is simple. Hyperthreading is not a gimick. Is it are good as physical cores of course not, but its still a major variable that anyone would like to have.

  • 4,4ghz@idle is nothing special..even with air cooling

  • agree there, i'm planning to get to a 4.7 stable clock on liquid cooling, after i upgrade my memory

  • on air that is realy nice

  • not stable is it?

  • what is this goa song? nice.

  • Comment removed

  • my children, don't do this at home ;)

  • why not?¿

  • what heatsink was that?

  • Its a zalman quiet cooler something with CNPS

  • as far as i know ther is no difference between 1600 and 2000, google it ,i have 1333 in tri channel, get same benchmarks , ,nothing impressive, ,for 1156 system go with 1600 + and plus cuz its in dual channel, for 1366 - max 1333 ,, ,

  • maan, if you are a noob at oc-ing, prime 95 will be fuckin your mind ,you should have seen how many times ive been getting blue screens on a simple oc ,, turns out i need to lower vcores instead of increasing them

  • @saved83 2000 is faster but 1600 is already enough

  • 1600 mhz is enough!

  • Warnin You burned a motherboard with this vcore

  • Of course not this is stable for a I5

  • Is that a Zalman Cooler?

  • it's actually funny that people watch this video think wow 4.4Ghz! yes it boots to windows now run 8 hours of prime95 or more and lets see how many fails it gets if none Gz on a good overclock but personally i think it'll fail under stress. prove me wrong or GTFO

  • It probly would fail but I would gess from overheating first. Once i get a better cooler I am going to cranck mine up to 4.0GHz for testing perposes.

  • @j0rzeh yeah you right, that clock is nuts...but in da future...will see°°!!!

  • @j0rzeh its eazy to overclock but you need to have good cooling

  • @j0rzeh

I second what you said !!, I can almost get 3.4ghz and passing Prime95 after 12 hours. It's easy to setup and hard to keep.

  • I use 3.2GHz on the stock cooler... if that is all you want then I would not worry about using the 212, I am going to get the same cooler and try to get 3.6ghz(or 3.8ghz)

  • Yeah!!! Just got the CPU and have the same zalman HS, although it looks like the fan has been upgraded. Nice to know this i5 has it in it.

  • Yeah I was gonna say he'd have to own an insane cooling system to get away with that kind of overclocking

  • This video is SHYT.......... If this tool wanted to show overclocking why didnt he run a clocking test. Because the CPU overheats....... Anyone can crank up the overclock on a CPU and run it for 20secs and not worry about any kind of damage.. Fcuk I can get my i7 975 to 5.5 ghz.. But if I atempt to run it like that for 4hrs, I would suggest CPU failure and overclcok tests would fail.... Fcuk you people know nothing about clocking here!!!!!!

  • @dimpilsPEACE fuck u hata

  • black cock sucker...... Thats it, thats what you write me..... Balckn12 must mean "black12"cock n ur ass..... Stick to eating cock meat sandwiches fagget .....

  • @dimpilsPEACE what is wrong with you? I think you got raped as a baby dude :(

  • post a video of it passing 100 runs of Linx or IBT, then itll be worth something. otherwise, nothing really to see here in this vid.

  • what kind of PSU are you running to get that... 4.4 is nuts. maybe ill build a i5 instead of a 965BE.

  • PSU 700W OCZ OCZ700GXSSLI-EU

  • TheLambda2218, True, but you only loose about 1-2FPS going with 8x / 8x up to a 5870 crossfire. but i would not crossfire a 5970 or the new GF100 boards.. since then 8x / 8x pci would be a REAL bottleneck with those cards.

  • @TheLambda2218

only if you have a 790FX chip motherboard though, all the others (GX TX, etc) do 8x/8x like the P55...

  • Good shit.

  • do u even need 2000mhz ram?

  • It wasn't really necessary :)

  • about 70-75 C

  • By the way can you tell me what cooler are you using, motehrboard (model), and teh ram (model, frequency, timing...) thanks!!!! alot

    VIDEO 10/5*

  • cooler ZALMAN 10X,

    mb GigaByte GA-P55-UD3R,

    DIMM DDR-III 2x2Gb Corsair TW3X2G2000C9DFNV, 2000MHz, timings 9-9-9-24.

  • thanks a lot!!!

    is the P55-UD4 better??? thanks

  • i think it's probably equal

  • Just replaced that exact cpu fan with sum corsair closed loop water cooling one cos i cudnt shut the case cos the fan is SO FUKIN BIG (was using a CM cosmos S casw :D)

  • absolutely Prime stable

  • I'm getting the same cooler. I like the blue and white and it will look nice in my case.

I've read that it's very quiet too.

  • does anyone know how well the "Coolermaster Hyper 212" heatsink works?

  • what board do you think is better? and why..

    MSI P55-GD65?

    or the one you have?

    Thanks!

    and this is stable too?

  • I find your cooler. Its a Zalman CNPS 10x Extreme

  • exactly!

  • What's the cooler on processor man?

  • What's the cooler on it? Great job btw =)

  • Motherboard?

  • GigaByte GA-P55-UD3R

  • How about the boxed cooler up to what is stable????

  • Boxed cooler wasn't tested.

  • is it stable in orthos?

  • absolutely stable!

  • that's sick!! :P

  • great!
