I'm afraid you did this incorrectly... LanLan 2x2 cubes are essentially 3x3x3s with massive corners. So, when you sprayed in that hole you created between the CORNERS, you are actually just spraying the surface of the hidden "3x3". In order to lube a LanLan 2x2, you must take it apart and lube the pieces as you normally would a 3x3, or any other way you would lube a 3x3.
jig a loo doesn't make enything about lock ups its just about the difference between the CUBES.
