  • I remember playing on it 50 years ago while we waited to pick up my aunt coming to Battle Creek from Chicago (early 60s)

  • any news about the old gal have they made any progress on her repairs?

  • Good to see a gtw confederation

    still working

  • that class northern was nicknamed a "pocket northern"

  • I live like a few blocks from where this train takes off, my grandfather helps run it if its the same one i think it is it looks exactly like it, its pretty cool i guess, and no traindude666 they did not break it

  • Ohio Central did not break 6325, she was taken down for repairs and she's just been dormant for a few years... give 'em some time and the high-steppin' Northern will be back on the road!

  • Considering that she sat in a park in my hometown for about 25 years, rotting away as a thing for kids to play on, I think it's great that she's being run again.

  • Is 6325 still ruunning

  • I wish they would have kept Reading 2100.

  • Reading T1s were fine engines. I had the pleasure of riding behind both 2101 and 2102 in the late 70s.

  • Ditto. My first mainline steam ride was behind "D&H 302" in 1973 when on the return trip Ross ran the wheels off of her along the Lackawanna Cutoff at 79 MPH. He also ran 2101 at up to 70 along the Philly Sub.

  • Would be nice to know when OHIO CENTRAL was running steam in sugarcreek.....or dennison for that matter!

  • Next to 765 she's my favorite engine -- thanks for this. I hope she steams again soon.
