@littleking3535 He got hit way more than one good time. He was dropped and dominated in the standup. Herman has some pretty horrible boxing and boxing defense and this guy he fought made him look horrible. He was also dominated in the wrestling, too.

Very impressive by Herman. He's challenged by Kita's strength and that's the first time I've seen this. He was beaten by Choi mu Bai because of his conditioning and the longer rounds in Japan. His grappling in fight was the most impressive and usually it's his striking that impresses.
I think that sub may have been more from the wrist-lock than the oma, but good job nonetheless for getting into that position at all. As soon as Kita dropped his head to the right, I knew it was coming, and it was good. :'D
This is the guy who said that jiu-jitsu doesn't work in mma? I have never, in three years of watching mma, have seen someone pull off an omoplata. This doesn't make any sense. The guy who says it doesn't work effectively pulls off one of it's most difficult techniques

@beargrylls3 Herman also claims not to train, and he looked impressive over a great ju-jitsu guy. I was looking at a lot of his old fights today, and I think he trains constantly and has actually very good ju-jitsu. I might be a fan!
@beargrylls3 He referred to JJ in high level MMA. Obviously if you lack JJ knowledge you're going to get submitted, but if a BJJ guru who trained JJ all his life grappled with a blackbelt who's trained just 5 years, more likely than not BJJ guru would not be able to submit him.
@Dimsonny you still need to know it, and even then belt doesn't matter that much, black belts get submitted by guys who are ranked bellow them in mma sometimes, like Overeem submitting Belfort, who was a black belt and ADCC bronze medalist, when Overeem didn't even have a belt. He was just the better grappler that night. But either way you have to train it. Dave even admits he trains submission grappling, so i don't think he knows what he's talking about
