i understand that i dont have much say in this world because im no doctor or the smartest guy in the world but i do know for a fact that one could drain all the water from that whole and keep it drained with acoustic levitation i could understand were this would be hard for any one to beleave but please look into acoustic levitation

@CongoKeeper Nice to see your having a good think about it, but their are a few tunnels that continuously fill the pit with water from the sea, they would have 2 block up those tunnels and try to train the water and even then their is a risk of collapse, Its gona take some brave bugger to get down their

It seems Egyptian. Reminiscent of how the kings chamber was built with all those granite reliefs above it. And they loved their tunnels and knew how to control water for sure. There has got to be something of incredible value down there. hope its not eroded.

@wheelmanstan the only thing that would be wrong with this concept is that they found the parchment with the letter R when then sent the auger down. although, i feel as though its the treasure of the nights templar, which theoretically would contain documents and artifacts both Egyptian and English.

@EnjoiEngMySelf It's fun to wonder. The earth changes constantly and ancient people traveled further and knew more than we ever giver them credit. There's no telling what could be down there. I wish a billionaire would come around and finance a dig that uncovers whats down there but I guess they're too busy counting money. I hate to see all that effort throughout the years go to waste. what's outstanding is the fact that modern technology today cannot or are having more and more difficulties going to the bottom of this. Make you wonder, there must be something down there, or was there if it hadn't deteriorated completely, of great importance. Looks like whatever it is, the creator didn't intend to go back and get it because merely creating this is quite a feat especially for its time..

@Xyntech06 a norwegian called Petter Amundsen started out solving what he thougth were clues in william shakespears first follio,that shakspear didn´t write his works. he eventually came to the conclusion that the order of the rose cross, had left the clues. he used astronomy and maps wich led him to oak island!!!with the clues he found in sheakspears works he uncoverd three new sites, and a third place nobody has searced yet ,he thinks thats were the "treasure" is. good documentary!!

@fonckmaista They are. the three land owners are still searching. The cool thing about Amundsen is how his research led him to oak. He actually found two new markers that noone else had found(The third site has yet to be explored). He´s not the first to put forth the theory about Shakespear/Bacon,but how his research led to the island, and the two new markers are deffinitly a new development. And his theory about who masterminded the "money pit" and the water traps seem to be the best to date.

theres many conspiracies and speculations.theories about the pit heres a few ,captain kids treasure,blackbeards pirates association,the holy grail,crystal skulls..(HAHAHA),a civil war weapons stash,an old native setlement wich ties in with the missing) inscribed stone, my favourite is a dry dock wich has some supportive evidence ,btw thedyemaster your about 2500+ years wrong
