I immediately recognized the Mendelsshohn piece! Very nice! All other pieces sounded terrific. But my knowledge of classical is poor, I hate to admit. But I'd love to see more classical pieces here on your channel. I also requested some Vivaldi if you are up for it. ;) You may not have won this day. But never give up. Sometimes contests are rigged. :(  Sometimes it doesn't matter how talented you are. My very lovely stepdaughter lost a beauty pageant to a girl who walked like a troll.

Just keep playing miss. I love the way you play. You also have the charistma which i couldn't explain. One day you'll become big, i'll bet on it! You can do violin concerts someday or open up a school for unfortunate but talented in the Philippines for free but i'll pay you of curz.. You got the talent i need.

That Don Juan is absolutely evil, isn't it? And the worst part (to me) is that for all the hard work it still sounds so ugly, in my opinion--even when it's in the orchestra! D: I thought you did a nice job, though. At least, I'd like to think that it helps us improve as performers to play things that challenging, on top of it being audition material.

Wow, 5 songs. I don't know how about you, but this performance took a preety long time (almost 10min). Is this normal for a violinist?

@KinngLion Some auditions can be pretty intense, depending on what you're auditioning for (like a major orchestra or something). I'm assuming this is probably somewhere in the middle in terms of length, not sure though!

Yeah, Strauss Don Juan is by far the hardest excerpt on there. I think last time they put the scherzo from Schumann Symphony 2 as an excerpt, which is just as difficult though. Good audition nonetheless. Good luck.
