A few things, if you don't want to lose control of your much loved company don't list it on the stock exchange. You can't have it both ways. In regard to Fletcher owning Crane I wouldn't be too worried as you might be able to buy it back cheaper later as Fletcher doesn't have a good track record about working out what is good value. Google Formica and you will understand.
