To my knowledge, you can lower your shoulder, but your hands have to be together, no helmet to helmet, and it must be within five yards of the ground ball. I didn't look closely at the video clip, but that was definitely a brutal hit, force wise, if it was legal, no clue, he was not expecting that's for sure.

Ive played both of the sports, and as far as the strike zone goes, thats just what is called a strike, players dont know where the ball is coming in baseball either, its coming very fast also, and they have a much smaller area to hit the ball with to do so successfully. The goalie in lacrosse has his entire body and his stick to stop it, much more at his disposal, not to degrade lacrosse at all. I love both sports.

The guy wasn't looking and he lined him up from pretty far away. He also didn't have the ball. It was probably a loose ball push (ball just changes possession, no penalty). Can't be sure though, it's up to the ref.

im 13 6''1 and in 1 game broke a kids collarbone (with a crosscheck from behind in the neck and charged) and the ref didnt see it so no penalty. Later that game someone one thought that he wanted to avenge his team mate se he droped his gloves and took off his helmet...what did i do? droped my gloves took off my helmet punched him once in the face a took his two front teeth out...im not allowed to play next year

haha dude Lacrosse is evolving. Its either going two ways. I see it all over. Teams either have quick shifty and athletic poles. Or they go big like my team. I was the shortest on our JV Team's defense but taller then anyone of varisty. Dude its insane to see the intimidation we put into other teams. I'm 6'2 195 and my bros were 6'4" 315 and 6'3" 210. To my knowledge, you can lower your shoulder, but your hands have to be together, no helmet to helmet, and it must be within five yards of the ground ball. I didn't look closely at the video clip, but that was definitely a brutal hit, force wise, if it was legal, no clue, he was not expecting that's for sure.

That's a coward hit and if he thinks he's such a tough guy, switch to football and we'll see how tough you really are. @techy14mp there is no way in HELL that hitting a baseball is harder than stopping a shot in lax. The area is bigger, the ball is harder, and it's going quite a bit faster. You also don't know when it's coming half the time AND it can bounce. We don't have you little "strike box" We have a huge goal. I'm not saying that baseball isn't a sport, I enjoy it quite a lot actually, but don't come in here bragging that it's the hardest sport, because it's not. I'd like to see your test that "proves it"

@Assasin252 Its been proven that hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do. Ive played both of the sports, and as far as the strike zone goes, thats just what is called a strike, players dont know where the ball is coming in baseball either, its coming very fast also, and they have a much smaller area to hit the ball with to do so successfully. The goalie in lacrosse has his entire body and his stick to stop it, much more at his disposal, not to degrade lacrosse at all. I love both sports.
