@bluedrangon69 and you obviously are a sucker for the devices that are behind the tech curve on release day (Sound familiar, iPhone 4???) Why watch this video if you think something else is better?
in tony's workshop, i think the one that produce the hologram in the are is the lights on the floor..if you could perfect your hologram interface then you can build the same with tony! good luck!
Pranav Mistry is his "co-worker" at MIT Media Labs, so I'm sure he's not mad. In addition to MIT, the LuminAR prototype was developed thanks to funding from Intel and Microvision. Therefore, Audi's Innovation Challege deserves ZERO credit for helping to develop this, since it's already a reality thanks to MUCH more funding. Audi should be ashamed for taking a challenge meant explicitly to help turn a NEW idea into a reality, and instead exploiting LuminAR's already existing publicity.
You don't love your S4... I bet you don't have an Audi... Their facebook fan page is full of spammers that Audi's cheap Social Media Ad agency is hiring in order to impress the marketing folks at Audi. Buy BMW.
Audi=Lies in Engineering. #1, this contest is for the little guy to get some money to make an idea a reality- yet this is a finished product straight from the freaking MIT media lab - Does MIT win? #2, it already exits about 1000 times over, and guess what, it has failed every time because projector technology is super lame compared to cell phone screens, ipads, laptops, literally any other screen tech imaginable. Buy Mercedes. Buy Lexus. Don't buy Audi. Ironman 1 was way freaking better.
correction!.... dont waste a buck on the lexus, it's got several quality issues. Audi's level of build quality is such, even the Japanese would find it hard to beat (trust me, i owe my life 2 to audi's solidity, had a bad crash)
The merc on the other hand, i would say, the audis are quite close or almost equal.. merc's got a better interior though.
It's no different than Pranav Mistry's Sixth Sense Technology which came way before this. Hate to put down Audi or Natan Linder but this isn't the first anyone is hearing of this technology, nor is it the best. /watch?v=mzKmGTVmqJs Still have respect for Linder though, this is truly amazing.
Is that it? I expected something more amazing....

Congratulations to Nathan. This marks an impressive accomplishment.
I must note, it is most unfortunate that many find the need to drop the f-bomb so fluidly on "comments" on youtube.

Who got the $5,000 2nd place prize from Audi? The inventor of the Cathode Ray Tube perhaps - built with Harvard funding maybe? Lame.

@seanquigz have you seen the new small laser projectors? Small enough to integrate into a mobile phone, and infinite focus
