Hey henehl, I really appreciate the glimpse you provide into white South African farm life. It's simple, pastoral, and very compelling. I have to say, I've met a surprising number of Boers and other white South Africans around where I live in the US. I guess the climate and overall culture is rather similar to what is "home" for them. But they are absolutely the nicest, humblest, and generally most pleasant people I've ever met.
