  • is that in nebraska????

  • @simplysurvival01 No sir, It was in Illinois about an hour south of Chicago haha

  • Thumbs up if you think the music suck! , lol

  • Nice truck, but shitty music.

  • @89Carfreak Lmao, thank you sir

  • i hav a f-150 but i might trade it in for a lifted ranger.....cant decide what to do!!!

  • @quaddude2501 Yeah I was having the same thoughts, but I got a big ass trailer to be hauled that the ranger couldn't, i do like the size of the F150's but them Rangers are fun little shits

  • @LEDphase3 yea..i sorta hav the same issue......i work on a farm and u never no wat ull be hauling when u work for Mr. Davis (the owner of the farm).......some days im haulin hay bales and on other days mr. davis is asking me to pull a tree a small - mid sized tree out of the ground.....then again i would sav alot of money on gas with the ranger

  • would have been a good video if the music didn't SUCK

  • @tazzbuel Haha yeah honest video critisim, I'd change it but It would be youtube music which is even worse, but who doesn't want to " GET A BITCH AND GET THERE DICK SUCKED"

  • @LEDphase3 hows the gas ?

  • @hogs211champs I had the 4.0L V6, and I got a good 17-19 city and up to 27 highway no joke. I got a 2005 F150 Im getting 9-10 city and 14-16 highway. I can easily say Rangers lead the way.

  • @LEDphase3 its cool, just wonderin because im thinkin of getting a ranger

  • @hogs211champs All I can say is DO IT there great trucks unless you get a lemon!

  • how big r them tires?

  • @hogs211champs All I remember on it was 305/??/?? it was anywhere from a 15-17in rim on the beast, sorry its all I got

  • Comming up on 30,000 views!!! Thank you everyone for checking out my video, I appologize for the music if you don't like it, other than that watch out for them RANGER DANGERS

  • @dbot956 k I was in 2wd/rear wheel drive in the video, Never switched to 4x4 shit was too weak for 4x4. Rangers are beast. Eventually I did break off a hub and break my transfer case up front but thats a whole different story...

  • hey do u think if this truck was white would it look good with black rims?

  • @kpercival27 Heck yeah it would look good, smoke out your tail lights then, and leave the reverse lights clear so you can see, just put little touches of black on your truck, like bug guards make a huge difference in looks on the hood and windows, if you dont already have them

  • ok....i've gotta ask.

you've got those markings on the rear corner of the box....was it just for show?

and why wouldn't (couldn't?) you hit water any deeper than the lip of the rim? i know most Ford's don't like water, but come on, at least get it up to the hubs & rockers!

  • @1oldskoolluvr I didn't know how deep it was if there was a drop off, I eventually went all the way through it was a pond that getting filled from construction, and trust me them 4x4 badges have held their name through hell and back on that truck, I sold it and got an F150 ill drive through some lakes up to the windows and get back to you with a video.

  • @LEDphase3 well.....i figured if you had the strap secured to the hitch, you would've had a tow buddy @ hand (the camera operator ?).

and you should've put the part up where you went straight through. i mean.....isn't that why we all click on the dirty thumb icons? :)

and don't get me wrong, i ain't knockin' your blue oval, but i've got quite a few die hard Ford friends, and even they don't like going through deep water. well......not in their street trucks anyways.

  • @1oldskoolluvr Camera operator was my good friends little brother that wanted to come with to have some fun doing a little offroading he wasn't old enough to drive/ have a car to help me out need be but I still let him drive. I did the water part on a different day didn't bring the camera. I've only owned Ford and will only own Ford IM FORD AS FUCK. Your entitled to say whatever you please,I don't mind its what I fight for 365 days of the year minus 30 days paid vacation... ;)

  • @1oldskoolluvr Seriously, my Ranger handles more than that and it has smaller tires, I'm sure you could have gone deeper. ;) And not using your 4x4 to get unstuck is just stupid. It puts unnecessary strain on your truck and can increase wear and tear on your vehicle.

Looks like you guys had fun though!

  • @SovereignRangers Yeah I just put this video up years ago for shits and giggles, the whole point is in that last sentence we HAD FUN!

  • @SovereignRangers uhhh......brother, you're talking to the wrong guy, i don't own a Ranger.

  • haha it funny cause its a ford

  • my ranger sucks the ass

  • what size are those wheels? is it lifted?

  • @dv6426ca Its been over a year since ive sold the truck, all I remember on the size was 305/??/??, and the previous owner may have had a body lift on it or leveling kit possibly, sorry for the lack of info

  • I'm Lookin for "LIKES" on this video, if you would please give me a thumbs up thanks for watching!

  • I love my ranger!!

  • @Guitarman132 Heck yeah man!

  • I live down in South Carolina and in the spring it rains like hell here and I like to take my Ranger through some nice muddy trails. I can go through mud holes that come above my 31''s and over the bumper and not even have to use my four wheel drive. I only use it if I have to. Everytime I think im gonna get my Ranger stuck it just keeps on going, I always underestimate it. I love my truck!

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 YES YES YES, couldn't agree with you anymore, they really knew what they were doing when they built these little tanks

  • @LEDphase3 I really want to get a body lift on my Ranger. The kit itself will be in the 200-250 range but I dont know how much installation will be

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 I'd probably say your looking at anywhere from 200 to I've even heard 800 just for the install, but I wouldnt spend more than 300 to get it done. Probably just would do it myself if you got a jack and a few stands

  • @LEDphase3 Yeah its kinda out of the question. I have some 1.5" coil spring spacers in the front which gives me a bit of a lift.

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 I hear ya money is very tight, just throw some big ass tires on your truck as long as they dont rub you get some lift and offroad performance out of it haha

  • @LEDphase3 Ive got a new set of firestone destination AT's to go on it they are 31x1050r15s. They have some nasty tread depth for all terrains. Im sitting on bald BFGs in the front and equalizer APs in the back with about 10,000 miles on them. I really wanna hook up some decent size fog lights, thats a project I can afford...maybe $30 for a nice pair at an autoparts store

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 Lmao change them tires ASAP! Thats got to look goofy. You should fab up a roof bar in the rear, and mount the fog lights on that it would look good if you know what im saying

  • Lol so why do you have 4 wheel drive, but not even use it once for mudding?

I could see why you would want to keep it in rear wheel, to slide around. But you didnt even switch it to 4x4 once.

  • @goillajw I think I just wanted to get stuck, I think thats the best part of mudding, and I wanted to show that in RWD it would do just as good. Kinda looks gay going so slow in this video not gonna lie but yeah Rangers are the shit!

  • automatic or manual

  • @FreeDive561 Automatic Sir.

  • PLEASE, for the love of American Made Trucks and 4x4, click "Like" on my video... and Thank You!

  • whats the lift?

  • @iandude454 The previous owner must have had a leveling kit at the max a 3 in body lift to fit those tires

  • them rangers can run forever, i miss mine so bad :-(

  • @88fordredneck I know how you feel haha there little beasts!

  • too many people buy BFG All Terrains because they think oh, BFG is a good brand, must be good. But in reality, those tires suck ass and are way too expensive.

  • @Kawasakiforlife7 I'll agree with you on the they are too expenisve part thats for damn sure. This truck came with them, and personally I loved them, they got me through the snow and ice great, mud pretty decent, and on the street which was most of my driving was perfect, tread wear was great. Upgraded to an F150 on BFG KM2 Mud Terrains and they are freakin tank track

  • @LEDphase3 if you loved these you really need to try other tires. these clog the second they touch mud and wont clean out for shit. I have discoverer AT3s, and they clean out at 2k or less, my friend can rev to 5k with his BFG ATs and they still wont clean out

  • @Kawasakiforlife7 I'll take your word on that, gonna be awhile before I need new tires

  • i liked it check out my stuff and like

  • @klx125xr100kids Hell yeah thanks man, I'll help out ur channel and give'em some likes!

  • I appologize for the music, It was put up awhile ago when I liked it. But If You Support Buying American, Ford,Rangers, or just Offoading and being outside, could you please click LIKE on this video, It would be much appreciated Thank you!

  • what all do u have on this ranger

  • @midnite141 Honestly, it was bone stock engine wise not even cold air. Exhaust was custom built at a Midas. BFGoodrich All Terrain tires and the black no brand offroad rims, and possibly a leveling kit or 3 inch body lift from the previous owner...Thats all I know I sold it for an F150 and miss the little shit, there beasts

  • @LEDphase3 what size tires.... n ya its a pretty nice truck

  • @LEDphase3 looks like 31's but wasnt to sure

  • @midnite141 Thanks for the good words on the truck! But the tires I remeber were a 305/??/?? so that being said yeah they were between 31's and 33's.

  • @LEDphase3 alright thanks man. appreciate it

  • How did you get your fog lights to come on with your parking lamps?

  • @racelipo Lol you turn the knob to the the parking lamps so half way then press your fog light button, thats all I had to do.

  • rangers are beast dont care what anyone says

  • @JAWNY101 Hell yeah they are!

  • Pussiest truck going ranger hate them! Yota up or nissan down american trucks sucks balls

  • @superhawkn First Pussy to comment on my video!, go get the fuck outta this country ya damn jap/chink supporter

  • @superhawkn This is America Love it or leave it!!! you and your pussy ass nissan can go the fuck back to japan where the trucks are made out of paper mache and chop sticks!

  • @ChadWorthingham Damn Straight!

  • @ChadWorthingham Damn Straight! Support America buy American

  • Go threw the middle you pusy lol

  • @SuperRebel12345 Lmao I was waiting for someone to say that, I eventually did it was a pond that was drying out, so it got up to the doors, not a problem for a day in the life of a FORD RANGER!

  • what kind of rims are on the ford ranger in the beggining????

  • @aSt3aLtHyP1cKl3 I wish I could tell you, but I bought it used and they were on there I tryed to find them online and had no luck

  • @LEDphase3 oh ok thanks anyway man! good video!!

  • @aSt3aLtHyP1cKl3 Thanks for the good words, good luck with the rims if ur looking to get some!

  • y must i me killed with every video on youtube that has a song in it

  • @baddawg209 , I'll applogoize for "y must i killed"the video, but it was a personal prefrence at the time, first song in the credits is still good cuz its funny, "black and yellow" got old as fuck to me, and the last one "bullets in the gun" is still decent, but once again sorry for "y must i me killed you", sir

  • @LEDphase3 lol

  • @FlatwoodsDairyLLC Lmao, Thank You!?

  • @LEDphase3 your comment to baddawg209

  • @FlatwoodsDairyLLC Lmao, yeah some people out there its just like jeez cut me some slack it was a song that I think is old now too

  • @LEDphase3 especially when u can see the vid was made last year

  • Ford Ranger is still one of the most best selling trucks in the U.S. They are definately the most reliable and efficient and they have great horsepower and torque for a 4.0 or a 2.3. They just arent as economical as the new four door compact trucks that Jap automakers offer, but the people who sold their trucks for a Tacoma or a Frontier often to back to a Ranger because Japs just cant make trucks worth a damn

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 AMEN!, and hell yeah they need to bring that Diesel Goodness over here asap.

  • @LEDphase3 never going to happen. All those people that by the f250 will spend their money on the ranger...cutting ford's profits

  • @AceofCrazy89 O yeah theres no doubt about that, probably gets great MPG's, I dont know what type of towing or hauling capacity it would have suspension wise, all I know is a Diesel Ranger would be amazing, and I'd blow coal on people all day

  • I wish they werent discontinuing the Ford Ranger for 2012. They need to bring that 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak over from Europe. That truck is amazing offroad, Ford doesnt want it in the U.S because its only 4 inches shorter and is almost as large as the f-150. Plus its 3.3 liter diesel engine puts out over 300 horsepower. I love my 02 Ranger 4x4 to death but the Ford Ranger wildtrak is a beast from hell! It would dominate the compact truck market like Ford did with the Ranger in the late 90s

  • is this in the fargo area

  • Anyone that says that rangers suck... has never owned one. They're fun as hell to drive!!!

  • @projectranger Yes sir! They may be little but they get the job done haha

  • @projectranger Yep and they fair quite well against deer too...lol

  • @projectranger You couldnt of said that any better! I own and 02 Ranger 4x4 with 173K miles, I literally put it through hell and it still runs, looks and rides new. I got it three years ago and so far its outlasted my cousins 97 blazer with 119k miles that barely runs now, my friends 02 zr2 s-10 that locked up at 77k miles on its second engine(4.3 vortec). He finally bought an 05 Ranger edge 4x4 and he loves it, he says its the best truck hes ever driven. Rangers run forever

  • @projectranger man i have a 98 ford ranger step side 4x4 with a 3.0 l and i have bfg all terrain tires and soon to be getting a 3" lift. And let me tell you i love it to death there is nothing it cant do or cant get through. I wish it had a lil more power. but sooner or later im putting in a 4.0 from a junkyard or maybe a 5.0 :)

  • @projectranger Thank you! Haha, I have one and it gets dissed all the time. But they get stuck in the mud, and I dont. ;)

  • @ShockingHannaH That's why you NEVER under estimate rangers!!

  • @projectranger THERE THE BEST END OF STORY :)

  • Nice Ranger man! I've got a 99 supercab 4x4 with BFG A/T's and it gets through anything. 270K miles and not a single problem! I want a new one but don't have the heart to sell it :( I want one of the 2.8L Powerstroke turbo diesel crew cab rangers they have down in Brazil! That would be badass!

  • @Jwad00 Hell yeah I couldn't agree with you more, Keep on Truckin brotha!

  • Nice truck - coming from a GM man.

  • @wideopenthrottle666 Thanks for the good words sir!

  • Looks like the Ranger I had...lost it in a wreck to a drunk driver :( Sweet ass truck, man!

  • @Bllackguard666 Thanks for the positive words sir, its a damn shame sorry for the loss I'll assure you its in 4x4 heaven being waxed by the finest titties in bathing suits right now

  • @LEDphase3 Man, I miss that truck. Someday, I'll join my truck and get the same treatment! lol

  • What was the very first song?

  • @300atsheridan haha its "Gangsters and Strippers" - by Too Short

  • What size tires, any lift?

  • @djc2232 They were 305 so I think thats 33" or 35" and there was no lift on it dosent sound right without a lift but they were 305/?/?, no rubbing at all

  • @LEDphase3 wow, I guess it depends on the brand? Ive heard of guys on the ranger forums getting rub with 33's and up with no lift. I want to try and put a decent 265 mud or AT tire under mine without one. Just hard to decide, looking at the general grabber at2 toyo open counrty and the mastercraft tires.

  • @djc2232 I've sold the ranger in this vid and got a 2005 ford f150, I had Toyo Open country A/T's on first they were amazing in snow and ice, had great street ride, and got through some mud they were 265/70/17's, I put on a pair of BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2's about a month ago 265/70/17, there amazing in mud, im waiting to try them out in the snow and ice, i got the centers of the treads siped, im guessing they will be great. It grips in wet traction like its on tank tracks,Goodluck!

  • You say you have to know what your doing, can you give me some pointers so i dont have to call my friends to come get me out? haha

  • @CometBear1124

Rule #1 - Gonna have to get stuck to know ur limits

Rule #2- Keep a shovel with you

Rule #3- Wiggle ur shit back and fourth and side to side if u get stuck

Rule #4- When ur stuck and think ur screwed remeber to see if ur 4x4 is on

Rule #5- Get a decent pair of tires if ur gonna make something u do every so often

Rule#6- Jamming boards under the tires dont work

Rule #7- Just have some fun

  • you get a thumbs down for the shitty music

  • @oldmanjenkins89 .... Appreciate it oldmanjenkins, ill give you a thumbs up so you can take it and shove it up your fucking ass! :) Have a wonderful day!

  • how do you do all that with Rwd???

  • @urgrandmascar, I had 4x4, just wanted to do it in RWD, just gotta know what ur doing

  • ah nice dude

  • Comment removed

  • @MrLaxratRL Not gonna lie I was afraid there would have been a nasty drop off, I did end up going through it all another day, I'll try to get a video of some good stuff with my new truck!

  • Any one else have the issue with the front vacuum operated automatic hubs on the 98-2000 Ranger? I ended up swapping them out for manual lockers because the stock ones would unlock all on their own while in 4 wheel drive

  • @TUDecathlete10 Yes sir haha I know exactly where ur comming from happened to me right before I broke the front end, and then switched over too

  • @TUDecathlete10 yeah it happend to mine too

  • @TUDecathlete10 had the same problem and it was impossible to fix, i now have the manual hubs also

  • i wish i had the 4.0 i got a 3.0 ranger with a little suspension lift and lockouts

  • @pjkisley1 Yeah the 4 wasn't too bad, alot of torque on the little shit did me just fine hah

  • @LEDphase3 yeah, i have a 94 3.0 with a 2 or 3 inch lift and lockin hubs, gotta go test it out. just worried that the 3.0 wont be able to power through alot of mud.

  • @pjkisley1 Lockers and the right tires should be fine but if you never get stuck then you aint mudding! haha

  • @pjkisley1 i have the 2003 4.0l for Ranger EDGE! and its a beast off road. and i race these tacomas canyons and colorados n it and always win. gtta get the EDGE the best

  • @BabyMacweewee27 Yeah my buddy had an edge, and still puts it through hell and back, can't believe Fords gonna stop making the Ranger. I'd go back to a ranger but I need all the power I can get from an 8 for hauling/ towing purposes

  • tow strap attached to hitch;; comes standard.

  • @creed1299 Hell yeah it does if your never get stuck your not playing hard enough!

  • Dude hella good looking truck. lovin the black on black on black. I have red 2000 XLT 4x4 4.0 on black 16's. Love it.

  • @doyashuffle Haha Thanks man for the positive comment, I sold the truck for an F150 I'm in the process of customizing it, I miss the little shit though there beasts!

  • Whats the name of the first song?

  • @rangers23100 LMAO, thanks for asking its called, Gangstas and Strippers by Too Short

  • @LEDphase3 Haha Thanks

  • Black and Yellow? Dafuck is wrong with you?

  • @themechanic345 I was mentally unstable at the time and liked the song was a personal prefrence....sir

  • @LEDphase3 I guess that's ok. It's just that I have an uncontrollable urge to yell at people when I hear rap/hip-hop mixed with 4x4 vids haha Sorry!

  • @themechanic345 Haha no big deal at all I completely understand, mudding is country and I should have kept it that way I threw in a little Toby at the end, but I agree with you Rap is Crap

  • Did you cut the mud flaps off on the back?

  • @getrdone52 I didn't cut them off but the guy who owned it before me might have, I don't remember seeing any cut lines on it when I would wash it though

  • @LEDphase3 Hmm. He must have been a really good cutter or he replaced them cuz there's ones on the front. I would like to cut mine off but I'd probably mess it up. Nice video by the way.

  • @getrdone52 Thank you, always nice to get a positive comment, I just saw your ranger video those flaps might have pins on the inside you'd know better than me and probably already have checked, but if you were going to cut it Id cut, sand and then get a matching gray plastic paint cuz it might show white

  • @LEDphase3 Ya there's screws on the inside and i took it off but you can see the paint where they connect, its hard to explain but it doesn't look good. And i wouldn't have even thought about the plastic showing white which it would probably do. Thank you.

  • how big are yout tires and do u have a lift of any kind?

  • @redbirds747 I believe they were 31" and there was no lift on it... they were still good on gas lasted a long time and handled ANY terrain and snow/ice.

  • I honestly do not know. I bought the truck used and sold it for a F150. They didnt have a brand name on them they looked like a mickey thompson knockoff

  • What rims are those? would they work with a truck thats got manually locking hubs?

  • @onlypitbulls Yeah it wasn't too bad it got my paint how i like it, everywhere I used to go would be considered trespassing, I dont know where ur from but I know a handfull of spots, of which this was by far the smallest

  • did you get good mpg in the ranger?

  • @codysk8ter95 As a matter of fact my MPG's were pretty darn good even with the tires and I drive like an asshole averaging 18 19 mpg probably, I've got an f150 now and it sucks on gas

  • @LEDphase3 i beleave that! my daily driver is an 86 302 f150

  • @codysk8ter95 If your lookin at rangers id go for one, it was a great truck i just needed something bigger and now im payin with the gas prices

  • @LEDphase3 yup i am like your old one just silver. have any problems with the 4x4?

  • @codysk8ter95 Never had any natural problems with the 4x4, I did break my front driveshaft at an offroading park which made it not work but other than that with the allterrain tires ive gotten through alot of crap

  • bfg all terrains are shit the mud terrains have better wear and better off road

  • @scuds69 Mud Terrains I would assume would be better in mud too, My treadwear was pretty good on them though.

  • You should put in a locker.

  • @Mcleary316 Unfortunatley I'm sellin it with my mustang I wanna get a F150
