  • It's so sad that these kids by themselves made that terrible journey to the US. That's so sad,I rather see adults make that terrible journey because an adult could defend themselves and aware on what's going on unlike a child that are defenseless and unaware on what's going on.

  • This is a very sad movie, the story is hearth breaking...I just wonder what happened to the 9 years old boy and girl showed in the movie...

  • i hate that people now ah days would think people like this come just becaz they want to, its nothing easy, people die on the way over heree, they want a better life..&it gets me mad when people say immagrants are bad people , i hate it when i see people protesting that they should go back, this world is nobody but gods, everyone is alowed some accually need to leave where they live to surrvive they have some bad lives starving or getting beat, they rather come, i pray t god theyre okay<3

  • it is definitely heart breaking..i saw this for a multicultural child development class and i was crying through out the whole thing=( i just hope God keeps all migrants blessed and safe especially olga and freddy whose outcome was unknown at the end of the film=/

  • Freddy and Olga, I wonder were are they now. I wish they can go back

    and find them.

  • How do we find Freddy and Olga???

  • It is heartbreaking documentary. It was so sad when Olga broke in tear, it just made me cry

  • its available on netflix both on dvd and online

  • The little Honduran Kid at the beginning Olga and Freddie are heartbreaking characters. Makes me want to adopt one of them right out of that journey before anything bad happens...

  • @allianceFiLifeDotCom

this part really broke my heaart! i felt helpless wen she keeps smiling but then breaks down speaking of playing with her sisters in minnasota! the fact that they were only 9 both her and freddy and then in the ened how the video guys never heard from them again! made me break doen hard!

    thx

  • @Gabbow234 Just downloaded from the internet....

  • this movie really got to me i loved it but at the same time it makes me mad because i know that this is happening everyday and the government of the countrys involve do nothing to help this people.

  • what happen to freddy and olga.

  • @MrRocky30 I just watched the movie and that was my main concern.

It's just heartbreaking to imagine what might have happened to this very courageous little girl and that little boy... I can only hope mexican authorities got to them before they were abused or god forbid, tried to cross the desert.

  • @MrRocky30 ya it kinda scares me that in the end it says their whereabouts are unknown. =(

  • She came to my University last Wednesday to screen the film and talk about the dangers of guerilla-style filming and how difficult it is to get the proper support when making a documentary. Really fascinating.

  • Wow, it says season one, is there more to come on this?

I would like to know(hope and pray) that those two nine year old children in the documentary are alive, safe and well?

  • @zoso1234 i dont think so this is just a documentary so idk if they might make a second part to it.

  • My Professor in my cultural diversity class, just showed us this entire documentary. It was emotionally powerful, and serves as a great vessel for the concepts of being aware, and most importantly understand that this exists. My professor gained this documentary by writing to HBO and persuading them, to send her a copy which she received for free. It's an amazing film!

  • I do not know if you can by or download the film right now, but it was on HBO last summer, and because it was nominated for an academy award this year, it may turn up on HBO again soon. I honestly don't know. I've only seen clips of it, but it absolutely breaks my heart to see that little boy at 4:30 crying because he has not seen his parents in three years. In my country (U.S.) we have been so blessed, and so selfish with our blessing. God may forgive us, but we don't deserve to be forgiven.

  • @howen77 NETFLIX!

  • @howen77 I am Mexican American so I fully understand both parties and my conclusion is a karmatic one. To reply with my opinion, we each are born under our unique stars per say, but it is our duty to understand our positions and see what we can do to help others. I strongly believe that we in American have the most potential to change the world... all we need is to spread awareness. Film & music are probably the best way to expose it. So we are better help being American. We can do a lot...

  • @howen77 It is available on Netflix.

  • I have no idea, but if you find out please let me know.
