@MegaGaminglord Generally you can only drop an item by picking up another item for that same slot. The exceptions being giving a medical item to another survivor or deploying ammunition.

Survival is the only thing in L4D2 that IMO is better than the original's version. The new infected make it a fuckload more interesting. And its no longer as simple as "camp here with 4 shotties" anymore.

@childofreletivity that happened to me, an annoying kid on xbox live (and one of my xbox live friends) named crash4750 all of the sudden became all obsessed with glitches. he wasted all of my supplies and then in versus friends only it was me and him and some other dude were plating and he was doing the glitch were you can run across the side of the bridge and i was the smoker and i pulled his ass down! you should have heard him cry.

Yeah, I do this in Single Player if the bots refuse to come into a room and pick up the aid kit or something- I'll bring it to them.

Here's another tip

If you have a laser sight thing somewhere, take one weapon and get it laser sighted, do it to another too. Then when a laser sighted weapon is in front of you, press, or mash, the W and E keys at the same time, and it will 'juggle' the weapons in your hands. Keep juggling them until you get to the desired location of the weapon.

Nice tip, thanks! Just tried it, it seems to work even without the laser sight. As long as you travel in a fairly straight line on fairly level ground.

A better spot is the room right of the machine gun. Its where the machete is located. I got 14 minutes there.

Just keep hammering W and E and go forward and you can go forward at normal speed. Been doing this technique a fair bit in survival.

You guys should have stayed inside the mansion, line up against a wall on the upper level of the center hall, when the tank comes, just encircle it.

if you move backwards and pick up without stopping... just keep tapping F.

you'll fumble the original handheld item then pick up the other... and if you keep tapping F.. you'll shorten the time a lot.

just gotta find rhythm.

True. Good tip! This was my first attempt, so pretty clumsy. As you say, you can hit E continuously, works great for tricky terrain (like going up stairs).

in the motel put alot of shotguns in the bathroom, get some buddies and grab shotguns and stay in the bathroom, me and my brother did this and we got through 2 tanks with little damage done

with a melee weapon and a shotgun i killed 5 tanks and got a 8:56 time. If you camp in the bath tub :P

speaking of the motel, one time I was playing and on the upper part of the rooms ther is one with bile in it and a medkit...I went for the bile, and when I took it it never dissapeared, so for the whole time we had infinite bile and we got 12:00 like that..it was awesome
