It's a shame that Nader didn't become an author instead of a presidential candidate. If he had, George W Bush never would have become president, and our country would have been spared a lot of grief.
Nader supporters, we respect your disdain of the two-party system (and it's a disdain that I share), and Nader's a funny guy, but this election is just too important to make a protest vote. Please consider voting for Obama or McCain in 2008. Support 3rd parties on the state and local level.
It's surprising to see how much fear they have installed in the people and it is sad all the same ... we pay those folks to work for us and not the corp., Mr. Nader is very right about his facts. He has worked hard all his life to up lift this country and teach.L&L
It was stolen in Fla. & that wasn't by Nader check your info/facts they are here on You Tube. With corp. money and supposed power if in fact that is what you wish to call it.
That's exactly what the media, the corporations, the corporate political parties want you to believe. If you elect a democrat or a republican in thrall to corporate power you get the same thing. You know they all get their money from the same places.
Well, you believe wrong. It has been statistically established; the majority of the people who voted for Nader in the last elections would not have voted at all if he hadn't run.
October surprise. Why is Nader running? Because this election is not over. Anything could still happen. Israel could bomb Iran. There could be an assassination. Any event that triggers the majority to wake up & vote, could change the whole out come. Remember RFK. Nader Gonzalez are an insurance policy to allow the people to elect someone to protect them from the corporations, who are moving, inch by inch to capture the government & install a military government again.
Ralph Nader is a real American Hero. He is the only candidate addressing serious issues: Withdrawal from Iraq, an Independent Non-Nuclear Green Energy Agenda, Single Payer Healthcare, an End to Corporate Personhood. He has actually achieved Bills: OSHA, EPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and numerous other laws to protect and empower citizens. I'll take Honest Democracy in Action over the Rhetoric of Hope Any Day.
Obama and McCain pale in comparison to Ralph. To me, it seems that Obama's message of change is nothing more than pure rhetoric. He's been a lame duck as a senator. Ralph achieved REAL CHANGE as a Washington outsider. It seems to me that if Obama was really interested in change, he would have accomplished something monumental by now. However, he has voted against Civil Liberties, against the environment, against middle class, for the war and for big business. Not the kind of change I like!

Ralph Nader, Matt Gonzalez, Cindy Sheehan have all inspired me to become a more informed, active citizen.

And, Barack Obama has YET to debate Ralph Nader. I'm sill waiting for that. We ALL Are!
Barack is just a coward! Never mind the DNC & RNC rules as the 'only 2 Parties to Vote for Game...'
If he does NOT debate Ralph Nader, Barack Obama should NOT be running for President! Period!

I'd love to see that debate! We should get a petition going.
