@mistertitanic Honestly, I'm practically in love with SMPS. After listening to the Sonic Spinball music all week, I can actually see how good GEMS can actually be. many American games use it, if I'm not mistaken and with all the licensed and child aimed games on there, it tends to sound pretty awful (Barney's Hide and Seek uses an unknown custom, but there's no doubt that is based on GEMS. My favorites are SMPS, Compile's custom, and Ancient Music Driver MD v1.00.

@supergameboy94 Yeah, GEMS can be pretty shitty at times, but in some cases it just plain rules. Like Earthworm Jim for Example, Vectorman, Comix Zone, and Jurassic Park:RampageEdition all sound amazing with it.

The Compile Custom kicks ALL ass though,

@mistertitanic The worst, in my opinion is Data East/Side Pocket sound driver/engine which has been ABUSED in lots of Chinese pirates which (most of them anyways) can actually be ear rape. With the exception of the game it is based on (Side Pocket, which actually sounds good) I refuse to deal with any game involving it. :l

I actually own a bunch of Famicom pirates.

@supergameboy94 The Genesis? Whoa man way too many to list off at the moment. It's my all-time favorite system. I have an entire channel deticated to the Genesis if you ever wanna check it out. "MegaSegaGenesis"

Well oribably my top 5 in no special order are: Comix Zone, ALL the sonic's, M.U.S.H.A., EarthWorm Jim, Streets of Rage 3.

Don't be hating Sonic just becuase of new things, when the old was priceless, even tv, example: Pokemon: First episode: Ash's mom: "Don't forget to change your underwear... Every single day!" Yeah, I pretty much prefer the 2D over 3D, but Sonic Heroes plus before & Sonic Unleashed are pretty good..

But, for Project Needlemouse, I'd like to see Tails & Knuckles in aswell... Just because they were all featured in Sonic 3 & Knuckles (What I meant by the best game on the Genesis)
