.12 bbs is asking for suicide. If you don't want platics shards flying out of your barrel killing people then don't use .12s. I could only use .2s and it still busted a couple. The shrapnel hurts like hell. Use no lower than .3s.

DO NOT BUY FROM AIRSOFTMEGASTORE. I purchased a Dboys M4 from them, it came broken, even with a Quality Control sticker on the gearbox. They did fix it but it was such a hassle, do not deal with them.

sucks i got a dboys ak74u and a mac 11 and there just as goood as when they came out of the box. and i dont have to worry about stuff messing up during shipment cuz there warehouse is only an hour and a half from my house

The best now is the 2010 version! comes with 9,6 volt battery (but only 1100 mAh)... there is no color difference between abs and metal parts as old version!! it's really a very good gun!

Best bet is the internet, but there is no REAL suppressor. All it does is make it sound different and add barrel length. It is really hard to find one for the CQB because most of them are designed for the ordinary m4s....the best one u could get is at least 50 bucks.

there is a weaver mount. If you have the handle sight like the m16, there is a hole on the top where you put the weaver mount for the sight. It looks 10 time more bad ass.

i dont think u can remove it. but there is a pin in the front that may be the trick. But i have a rifle scope and it does get in the way. But it doesnt mess you up.

That kid was running a 9.6 v. dont use a 9.6 use the stock 8.4 v, it wont increase your rate of fire too much (without it smoking first) and it will not increase FPS whatsoever.

I do have a question or two about this gun tho, i was looking to grab one soon. How has it held up so far? hows the accuracy? is it still reliable? also if you take of the orange flash hider is it possible to screw in other standard barrel extensions?

It ends up to be good after a while of use. Ive had mine for a couple of months and the only thing that's happened to it is the prongs holding the butt stock are broken. just be careful

.2 and .20 are the same...if u knew math (apparently u dont) adding a zero at the end of a decimal number doesnt change it at all...

0.2 refers to the WEIGHT of the bb pellet (0.2 grams) , so technically the gun can accept everything from .12 (not recommended) all the way up to .43 or whatever, so long as the dimensions are the same (6mm). And as ThatFreakyThing12 pointed out 0.2 = 0.20 (lol?)

In a way I like abs bodies because there is less problems with shortages. 1 out of 4 of my guns with metal bodies experienced shortages and blew fuses, and I actually had my jg mp5 ras smoke up from the inside because of a shortage. There is nothing wrong with ABS. ABS is almost as durable as metal. But yea, I own this gun and its a great buy for the cash. I havent had a problem with the battery yet, but ill keep an eye on it from now on.

The JG 09 version is all metal even the hop-up is metal and for the record it is leaps and bounds better than DBOYS.

I think that silver piece your talking about might be the gear box.

yeah it does. it's actually the outer part of the barrel. i don't know how to get a good look at it but yeah it does have it. the only thing about the RIS is that the covers are a little hard to get on. and the top one is the hardest. sometimes it never stays in place.
