Mate, you just covered the most difficult song in history to pull off successfully! 10 out of 10. Forget those knockers, Let's see anyone else do it better, aside from Alvin himself.
Credit the guitarist for trying but "not acceptable." He hit some of the notes but was off on others or just completely missed them. What can you can expect, he is no Alvin Lee.
Well, it was a bit strange and you can't do it better than Ten Years After (Alvin Lee), but the bottom line is the guitar player was actually very good. I enjoyed his performance.
This would have been much cooler if the lead had played that red ES-335 sitting on stage right. Would have added to the authenticity more.
I wonder if those chicks realize how stupid they look going across the stage.
This guy can play, but why share the stage with the beginning guitarist? Was that his son. When he gives a solo to the youngin' he keeps playing and drowning him out. Not too cool, but it was his gig after all.
The two dudes on the left are like ' WTF, we wanted to do a cool grunge gig but this old fella took over with all the old rock and roll shit...' OMG now there are women going across the stage!!!! bizarre...
One of THE best covers of this song I've ever heard..including the new guy in the group TYA. Gooch is good....but, this guy is better....more authentic to Alvin Lee. I have one criticism of this video clip. Somebody should've shot those stupid ass chicks running around in the background. Highly disrespectful...and so NOT funny.
Great job! The people who didn't like this are probably so used to TYA Woodstock that any attempt to duplicate is gonna fall short. If the bass player went into convulsions during the whole 8 minutes it would have seemed better, and the lead singer needed a watermelon. Also the chicks running around in the background should have been topless. Otherwise it was good.
As a sailor in 1972 I seen Ten Years After in Rome, Italy. It seemed strange to me being that probably more than half did'nt understand English, but there was thousands there LOL!

Don't put these guys down, they are damn good, but it is hard to follow a legend like Alvin Lee and Ten Years After.

If anyone has to wonder if that is GOOD... that is because it is GREAT. Consider the sound quality is average at best.

Gotta stick the bass player in front of the drummer - maybe help stay on the beat. Otherwise great job for a bunch of hippies - ha ha.
