Zee avi has a good voice but it doesn't suit the lyrics at all. R and B country and pop sing about love and night clubs, not this, its like a death metal band singing justin beiber doesnt work. In my opinion Morrissey's version is much better and his voice suits it better. This song is meant to be rock not a lulaby. You can tell cuz it says Hector was the first of the gang with the gun in his hand, thats not sweet and soft. MORRISSEY PUT THE M IN MANCHESTER

@hipie3000 The beauty of Zee Avi, is she has a way of making songs sound sweet, but the message is usally really serious. That's the main reason I adore her. I thinks this version is great, but hey, we all have our opinions.
