Since discussing with a friend how useless the Nazgul were I can't take them seriously. They were said to be invincible yet Aragorn fought 7 of them alone at Weathertop (including the great Witch King), they were afraid of fire, afraid of water they didn't like Gandalf's light and in battles they took most of the credit instead of their drakes.

Actually Melkor and his armies hated the light, that is why he got Ungoliat to poison the Two trees. But as most creatures he was also reckless before the beauty of the Simarils.

Sauron with the Ring and Melkor with the Simarils are quite similar.

And again there is a mention about worshiping the darkness when Sauron tricks the Númenórean into praying and making sacrifices in the name of Melkor.

@khornelover94 Yes, the songs are indeed tributes. Obviously they do take sides, like in the songs about WW2, but who doesn't? It's not like they clearly support a specific ideology and they don't come up with solutions for the world's problems, war being one of them.

In my opinion, you can never create true peace through war, even if sometimes that's the only solution. Or if you have absolute control over the whole world... And that wouldn't be a very happy world.

@tokorev747777 Well try to listen blind guardian, they have couple of songs which is about Lord of the Rings, and find band called "Witchking" they made a full album about The Lord of The Rings Trilogy- example songs: "Flame of Udun", "Under Siege" etc. Also Aartrosis made a song about the Nazguls called simply Nazgul.
