  • Diamond Cutter = Death

  • Fuck the RKO

  • OH OH and lets not forget

    DDp vs Raven

    or DDP vs Savage.

two of the best fueds EVER

  • DDP was the shit! (still is btw, such a cool guy to meet)

i'm so upset about the wwe run. they totally missed the boat on this guy. he had such a huge pop then they just fed him to the wwe machine in the form of undertaker.

vince loved squashing on of the most popular wcw guys ever.

the diamond cutter, ddp's matches, were the best thing going

  • The diamond cutter i cant recall all the matches were he used it as a reversal or out of nowhere.

  • cooler than the RKO

  • seriously, i cant get over the teen spirit music rip off lol.

  • I'm surprised to find out that DDP was the first to do the Fireman's Carry to Cutter.

  • back when people KNEW how to take a cutter. and DDP actually seems like he hits it out of nowhere.

  • I sat next to DDP on a flight to Orlando the other day, and he was the nicest guy I ever met, treated me great, talked to me, and made me feel like he appreciated me being a fan. Hats off to DDP.

  • Lol, they're the same move, just performed differently. The only thing that would put RKO above is that it's performed faster, making it more efficient.

  • @retsae1 wow really "rko....is performed faster?"

Hey just started watching wrestling for the first time? Reading your statement, you seriously don't know what you're talking about. You ever watched WCW at all? If you did, you'd know DDP did his finishing move in so many ways, slow or... fast. He even used the Jump Cutter and Twist Cutter long before Orton and the Hardyz.

  • @retsae1 Being faster doesn't make it more efficient. The Diamond Cutter is most definitely the more efficient of the two moves as it uses a cravate hold instead of being performed one handed like the RKO.

  • @SomeGuyNamedJason True, but in actuality, a slow cutter can easily be broken out of, whereas the quick strike would hit hard and fast, kinda like the Superkick and the Sweet Chin Music. Or a powerbomb to a Last Ride. It's generally the theatrics that makes it less efficient.

  • @retsae1 That would be true if the Diamond Cutter was as slow as you are implying, and even then the cravate isn't such a simple thing to break out of, which is part of the reason it is used (an RKO is much easier to get out of than a Diamond Cutter). The RKO is only moderately faster, not enough to make that much of a difference. Besides, what the Diamond Cutter loses to the RKO in speed it more than makes up for in the myriad variations that DDP had at his disposal.

  • @SomeGuyNamedJason There's too much time to react to the DC. The RKO happens in an instant. But my premise lies in the fact that move is always, consistently, a jumping, instant, viper like strike. As far as it being single handed, the move was originally double handed, and Orton still uses it in a double arm hold interchangeably.

  • damn, did Vince ever fuck up on this one

  • Thumbs up if you got here from watching stone cold get beer in his eye!

  • I had to mute it when Puddle of Mudd came on, but other than that it was a great video.

  • great vid

  • lol nirvana!

  • it's me it's D D P

he is my 2nd fav wrestler

i really know about him little

i saw him before 2 days and he've been on my 2 top favourite

  • ...did he just reverse the Jackhammer into the Diamond Cutter?

    Holy shit...

  • 4:40 should have been the Diamond Cutter that gave him the strap and put him WAY OVER but fucking Bill Shitberg was getting a push

  • Yo, it's me, it's me, it's D D P! BAAAAANNNGG!

  • 4:33 hands down greatest EVER

  • @k1ng0fswa9 proof that Bubba Ray doesn't need Devon to do the Dudley Death Drop!

  • @RonnieAGonzalez hahahaha hell yea

  • i remember that william regal sell at 4:30 from wcw vs nwo world tour

  • @lonewolfpug That would sound so evil, if it wasn't wrestling related.

  • Orton can suck it. XD The Diamond Cutter is way better. \m/

    WCW 4 LIFE!

  • diamond cutter is about a million times better than RKO

  • I would've loved to see DDP VS The Rock!

  • DDP really was the master of pulling that move out of nowhere. He really deserved to be so much bigger than he was(and he was pretty big).

  • 3:14-3:22 my favorite variation

  • The Master of the Fucking Diamond Cutter

  • the d cutter has a snap look to it....rko looks fancy but ddp has much more impact...and yes i know its all a wrk

  • The WWE can fool the kids with the RKO, but real wrestling fans know that the Diamond Cutter is the real deal.

  • I bet Randy watches footage of the various Diamond Cutter finishers and then tries it out himself.

  • My favorite variation of the Diamond Cutter's from WCW/NWO Revenge. It's a special move (obviously) where he throws the opponent into an irish whip off the ropes, then on the rebound throws them up into the air and hits them with the cutter as he comes down. So badass. Fuck the RKO.

  • So, Im totally pulling out the diamond cutter in my next fight, how about you guys?

  • can anybody count how mmany ways ddp can pull off the diamond cutter

  • I wonder how he and the WCW managed to avoid getting sued by Courtney Love for using smells like teen spirit.

  • @crackmonster99 - I wonder how Demolition, Crush, Million Dollar Man, Honky Tonk Man, Ravishing Rick Rude and Goldberg's 2nd crappy 2004 theme and WWE all avoid getting sued by hundreds of music companys.

Oh of course.. WWE also stole music from the mainstream and TV production music world, who knew? I don't know why a crappy wrestler like Alisha Fox get a rippoff Nelly song? #LOL

  • @crackmonster99 Cause it is not being performed by Nirvana.

  • greatest era in Pro wrestling

  • @Bigant55 By a long shot. They bled, sweat and payed the price. Every damn match!

For us, for themselves, to be the best at what they did, every night of their lives.

  • diamond cutter best finisher in wrestling history

  • "The Diamond Cutter is... TOO COOL, cooler than the other side of the pillow. - DDP"

That was a quote from DDP in 1996, I remember I've read that he wanted to have it written on the back of one of his WCW T-Shirts. Thumbs this up, if you want that to be written on the back of his first ever official WWE Diamond Cutter T-Shirt? ;-)

  • fuck orton

  • Smells like shitty garage band trying to cash in on Teen Spirit.

  • Wasn't there a Raven DDP story line that they had the same trainer back in the day; and one was given the Even Flow DDT, and DDP was given the Diamond Cutter? IDK, I can't remember but I do recall Raven and DDP feuding back in WCW. DDP was cool, but quickly turned into shit when he had to go WWF. "It's me, It's me, it's DDP :-D" had to be the dumbest shit, DDP was a badass, not a joke. I hated what Vince did to most WCW talent that came to the WWE. He made fools of almost all of'em.

  • The RKO is the poor man's Diamond Cutter

  • I don't watch wrestling since 1999.

I was a huge fan of WCW and the cutter was my fav move.

  • Was a cool guy as a wrestler

  • The RKO is just variation No49 of the diamond cutter

  • @karnivorus i thought it was varitation No 19? Not to troll just was a DDP fan lol

  • Imagine if DDP came back while wearing a mask wrestling Randy Orton and hit the Diamond Cutter and took his mask off. That would be a great surprise.

  • Get the medics, WCW style!

  • i guess i'll have to be the one to say it. BANG!!!!

  • @NODguy no.

  • @rafa10454 ok you like ddp and i know this is a fans video but you know the truth rko is a whole lot better than diamond cutter and have more impact.

  • @NODguy but diamond cutter is not a simple move is a whole universe of variations, DDP used lots of variants of it including the jumping cutter

  • What I like about DDP's Cutter is that it actually looks like he's slamming their head to the mat with all of his bodyweight, randy orton's looks a bit too floaty, i think this could be fixed by having the enemy not jump with orton, otherwise it seems like orton would take more damage than the enemy

  • Man I really wish WWE would release a DDP DVD boxset, they easily have enough material. Unfortunately for us older fans (I feel odd referring to 22 as "old") they probably figure it wouldn't interest the younger crowd whom they seem to be catering to these days. Guess it doesn't matter how big a draw or how over you were in your time if your time was more than a decade ago. :/

At least the Best of Nitro DVD set will have six DDP matches. Maybe if that sells well my wish will be granted.

  • @godzizzle They pretty much made a joke of DDP. He never should have gone there.

  • @godzizzle The good news for you is that not only are there are couple of his matches...he's also the host of the DVD, so he is the one walking you through the entire collection.

  • Last two are freaking epic

  • he did an rko

  • I stand corrected, could've sworn Rhino was under a different name in WCW. Wasn't Wrath though lol

  • @EviLShepherd Before joining ECW, Rhino did a few jobs for both WCW and WWF under the name Terry Richards. Wrath was Bryan Clark aka Adam Bomb.

  • @vinbroccoli Ah, thanks. I knew that I knew Rhino and Wrath under different names...Just couldn't remember what they were.

  • Diamond Dallas Page the original creator of the TKO! R.I.P Test

  • This is not from skits or interviews. But 10+ minute matches where DDP performed. Not seen by the wrestling "acting" of today.

  • DDP.

  • @rollhard86 Too cool!

  • Nice Vid, DDP is a helluva talent, in wrestling and beyond. Question. The guy getting the cutter at 1.52 is that Rhino?

  • @KristianTNA In a sense, yeah. Same person, but I think in WCW he was under the name "Wrath" or something like that.

  • FUCK YOU ORTON this is how you really do this move

  • Guys, stop saying RKO is a rip off of Diamond Cutter. Just because one wrestler uses a move doesn't mean another can not. By the way, RKO is a JUMPING cutter,

  • All hail one of the graetest wrestler of all time

  • ref at 0:46!!! lol LOL!!lol LOL!!

  • the song sounds a bit like nirvana teen spririt?

  • @ShadowThunder7 Page used the instrumental for his wcw theme

  • Diamond Cutter > RKO

  • DDP said he loves what Randy Orton has done with the Diamond Cutter he made it more theatrical and his own.

  • DDP was the reason I went back to being a wrestling fan. he was fun to watch and that Diamond Cutter was phenomonal. 2 personal favs: the one he put on Macho man when he wrestled him dressed as La Parka on Nitro and when he turned down the NWO and nailed Scott Hall. Brilliant. Hats off to ya DDP. There will never be another like ya brother.

  • i wish i could c ddp give a diamond cutter to randy orton

  • DDP the master of the Diamond Cutter.

  • God, who cares who "stole it" from who? I've seen countless wrestlers use moonsaults, but I don't claim that they "stole" them from each other. DDP used the cutter, so do the Hardys, HHH (way back in the day) and Randy Orton. Moves like Whipwrecks and Austin's stunners are modified versions.

I mean, look at all the wrestlers who use DDTs. Did they ALL rip it off from Jake Roberts?

  • @ CanadianDestoryer123

Oh, keep your bullshit comments to yourself. The footages used in this video ARE FROM 1995-1998. You're NOT going to convince WCW fans with your lies. DDP first used the Cutter way back in 1994. Source: WCW Saturday Night 1994.

Fact is, Johnny Ace invented the move and gave the move to DDP. Page made that move MAINSTREAM FAMOUS and PERFECTED THE MOVE by applying it OVER-A-100-DIFFENT-WAYS. Hell, MOST of this unique Cutters are NOT in this video.

    You troll. LOL

  • whats next RealDealPhill the stevey kick is a rip off of the sweet chin music? LOL the spear is ripoff of the gore and thats a ripoff to the 5 point tackle hahaha everyone uses other peoples moves there is no ripping off when it comes to moves just different names to make it somehow unique when really its not.

  • no one rips off a move, the majority of finishers are inversions of other moves, if tht was the case the AA rips off the dreamer driver, the lebel lock rips off the cross face, the Celtic cross rips of the razors edge, the skull crushing finale rips off the stroke. people only complain about the RKO cos every1 makes such a fuss over it and thts cos ita a cool move! the way randy sets it up or hits it out of nowhere is what makes it so exciting, nt taking out away from DDP cos his is sick too

  • This dudes entrance theme was Nirvana instrumentals?

  • rko is a jumping cutter the twist of fate is a spinning cutter ddp did not invent the move but he did perfect it

  • @TheManiacalSatanist6 perfected it my ass, ddp had more charisma and gimic than orton couldever have DDP>RKO

  • The RKO is a rip-off the Diamond Cutter

Big Show is a RIP-off andre the giant

John Cena is the new Hulk Hogan

    TNA SUCKS WCW WAS AWESOME

    WWE SUCKS WWF WAS AWESOME

MINITRY UNDERTAKER WAS BETTER THAN THE NEW ONE (WHOS GAY)

    KANE WAS BETTER MASKED

YOU CAN ALL SUCK MY BALLS

  • @xanderdude123 Ministry is better but, NEVER say he's 'gay'.

  • @xanderdude123 amen brother

  • he never would have hit the diamond cutter on THQ-Man....

  • is ur a fan of ddp subscribe to his blogg spot at DaRealDDP(DOT) com

  • WCW was the best

  • 15 people felt the bang.

    DDP is a G.O.A.T.

    The Diamond Cutter is epic.

WCW, old ECW, NWA wich s now TNA, and WWF=Best wrestling ever

  • @SmOkEFrmJQ Erm nwa is not now tna they split years ago. Which is why no nwa titles are in tna anymore...

  • @ONEWAYLEEWAY Iclearly said "NWA which is NOW TNA"

  • @SmOkEFrmJQ NWA IS NOT NOT TNA IDIOT GOOGLE IT!

  • @ONEWAYLEEWAY Do some research smart guy. TNA USED TO BE NWA

  • @SmOkEFrmJQ tna used to hence the word USED! they split years ago u freakin moron NWA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TNA IN THIS YEAR 2011! they split up n thats y the nwa world title n tag titles aint in tna any more! smart guy!

  • @ONEWAYLEEWAY You wana do some history? Go research the 1st thing I said. CLEARLY SAID "TNA WHICH IS NOW. Wich also means USED TO BE. Genius

  • Shemus sucks too as well as the whole lame ass nexus, and the miz sucks, swager sucks. Wrestlers here today gone tomorrow and forgotten.

  • @Truexel WOW! they are great wrestlers! the miz is a great wrestlers, plus they finally gave him a push after 5 years! So stfu bro, cuz in all seioursness, ur a 9-12 year old CeNation kid!, and if ur older thats just sad! cuz u see wrestling as faces and heels, and think that faces are the best! 4 REAL GROW UP BRO!

  • @boricuaboy4life im 17 and over 9000% anti-cena. i think miz didnt do anything big or notable aside from winning the mitb, but come on, the titles should be won by competition, not by just winning a briefcase and wait for the champion to be ambushed by someone to cash it in. the only mitb winner who cashed it in while the champion wasnt injured was Rob van dam

  • @Hitmonchan107 U have a point but all im sayin is that even if the wrestlers are heels, doesn't meen that most are crappy wrestlers. And yes! finaly some1 who isn't a CeNation fag. But like u said, ur right, other then RVD everyone cashed it in un-fairly but WWE makes them whitch kinda sux cuz WWE 2day is really predictable

  • give orton a brake pretty much every move has been thought of by now look at shemus he copied razor rumone...btw diamond cutter is a cheap rip off of the stone cold stunner

  • @KAMiiKAZii1 "...btw diamond cutter a rip off of the stone cold stunner".

How?! You must be a retarded fanboy to believe in that bullshit you've stated.

I saw DDP used the Diamond Cutter around mid 1994 on WCW Saturday Night. The VERY SAME YEAR... Steve Austin was WORKING in the same COMPANY with Diamond Dallas Page. Explain that? I wouldn't be shocked if DDP used his Cutter before that year.

"btw"? BTW... other wrestlers have used the Stunner before Steve Austin eg. Disco Inferno

  • @DuctTapeXD stone cold did the first stunner in wwf aganst vega in 1997! he neva used it b4 that

  • @DuctTapeXD youre right about everything except disco inferno used it after austin did. steve austin ripped the stunner off mikey whipwreck.

the diamond cutter is only similar with the way you grab their head....its a complete different bump to a stunner. a stunner you land on your back, easiest bump in wrestling, and the diamond cutter is a front bump. theyre two completely different moves. a piledriver and powerbomb has the exact same thing in common that the cutter/stunner has.

  • @DuctTapeXD the stunner looks nothing like the cutter if anything ortons rko is more of a modifed cutter

  • @EmoKilla420

    Duh!! Really? You don't say...

  • @EmoKilla420 Barely modified, the only difference between the RKO and a standard Cutter is that Orton jumps instead of just dropping down into the move.

  • @godzizzle well Diamond kinda jumped but it's more like you said with orton he jumps an gets highth. Where as Diamond just kinda jumped but not really an more so dropped u with it.

  • @EmoKilla420 I was comparing the RKO to just a regular Cutter/Ace Crusher. DDP's Diamond Cutter is actually a modified version of that move itself as it uses a cravate hold instead of using one arm for a three-quarter facelock.

  • @KAMiiKAZii1

lol @ cheap rip off. u mean the stunner?

    diamond cutter was first

  • orton blows just like cena

  • Suck on that Orton!

  • At one time the Diamond Cutter was the hottest finisher in wrestling. DDP could hit from anywhere, the man was dedicated to the business. Nobody worked harder than DDP.

  • Favorite wrestler of all time!! This man inspired me and still does. I'll still flash the Diamond Cutter sign.

  • @swsanders I think you just answered your own question lol. I personally don't like Orton because he's still young and has A LOT to learn, DDP was in his 30's when he started wrestling and he worked his ass off and went from losing every match to headlining big events, movies and such. To me his story is ust that much more interesting. WCW was never the juggernaut that WWF/WWE was was the one thing WCW was good at was making superstars.

  • Smeels like..DDP..Spirit..?!

RKO! RKO!...ops!..i mean Diamond Cutter! Diamond Cutter!

  • I remember how my friends used to always diamond cut each other randomly

  • And people say WCW never created stars..DDP was always the original People's Champ to me.

  • I've noticed that wrestling fans have the WORST taste in music.

  • This is a end of a era. You can't compare a real wrestler, doing a real wrestling move. To the garbage we see today. Thanks DDP for giving 150%

  • This is the end of pro wrestling. A real wrestler, doing a real wrestling move. You can't compare Randy Orton to a real wrestler like DDP.

  • daimond cutter was a nasty move

  • fck the rko

  • Which theme is this?

  • DDP himself mentioned this video on Sam and Dave on SiriusXM yesterday

  • Christ, DDP was so fucking over. Every time he'd hit that cutter, the crowd would pop like nobody's business.

  • wats tha 2nd song?

  • If you want DDP to come onto RAW next week and show Randy Orton how its really done give me a a thumbs up.

  • randy orton copys his finisher

  • @IImusic4life randy orton didnt copy.. Randy orton has ask permissions from DDP to use this move 7 years ago..

  • If it wasnt for the Diamond Cutter there would be no Ego Trip. i picked up fron the best

  • just like the rko just with out any jump to it

  • That's a crazy move. You can do it from anywhere.

  • The RKO is a rip off of the Diamond Cutter!!!

  • @RealDealPhill Randy Orton should face DDP in a RKO/Diamond Cutter match.

  • @Rlotpir1972 Great idea. Nevergoin to happen

  • @RealDealPhill RKO is an improvement to the Diamond Cutter

  • @ytaks14 Improvement??? Not

  • @RealDealPhill DDP actually blessed Randy Orton with that finisher. Doesn't change what you said, but at least it legitimizes Randy's use of it a little more.

  • @RealDealPhill rip off the stunner

  • @RealDealPhill And the diamond cutter is a rip off of the ace crusher.

  • @RealDealPhill JUST LIKE THE SHARPSHOOTER IS TO STING, BUT THAT MOVE WAS CREATED LONG BEFORE EVEN STING... DO YOUR HOME WORK...BEFORE MAKING A COMMENT.

  • @RealDealPhill Diamond Cutter is a rip off of The Ace Crusher.

  • @RealDealPhill so in your way of thinking the Diamond Cutter is a rip off of the ace crusher what the hell is your point?

  • @RealDealPhill DDP debuted the diamond cutter in 1998. go back to 1995 Triple h was using it and called it the Pedigree Pandemonium. same move. go watch it. HHH was the first to use the 'Cutter' if anything, DDP ripped off Triple H.
