I don't have any experience with valved engines so i don't know for sure but would it not be easier to just throw some firework sparklers down the tail?
regardless, pretty freaking sweat and compared to your previous endeavours MASSIVE :p
Well, I used up all the sparklers when this thing was just a wee atom pulse jet design and I needed to get it going.
The method I'm using with the torch actually helps find the optimal place to put the spark plug.
After tinkering with it as an atom pj, hot roding the hell out of it was in order. Now I need to find out how much thrust it's making. Thanks for checking it out.
Thanks man... No, it's 87 octane gasoline...I plan to stick it on a copy of an f-22 yard bird. I have quite a bit of work to do to both before it's flight ready. As I try it out you might find me in several different field locations due to intruding housing developments and noise ordinances.
Thats a powerful little engine there. Thats a very nice homemade dynajet. what kind if fuel did you use?

@comandoaec It's an experimental valve set up with four large "pedal" valves. You can observe full video on pulsejet.com to see the valves.
