  • What is a typewriter? Is it like a computer keyboard?

  • That cat has such a troll face,

  • Is this guy a touchy-feely-holic?

  • OMG I forgot about him! Haha he is the reason I say "nooony nooony noon noon" when I walk around up to this day XD

  • this is my father, how I wish he would come home to me. Mean neglectful noonynoony man

  • The cat sounds like the Typewriter Man, ever notice that???

  • Uhh...... is that a naked chick with a giant "C" on her?

  • OMG! I completely forgot all about this awesome dude!

  • @chop11111 not only they don't know what a typewriter is, they barely know anything about life 8O

  • If someone walked into my office singing "noony noon noon", I would laugh. If they walked in wearing a red typewriter costume, I would call security.

  • @TheIntruders

    aw ur no fun. :)

  • ahahah!! i miss this!!!

  • OMG. I can't believe this. I haven't seen the typewriter guy in 20 years!

  • Theres only one word I can think of that starts with C haha

  • Awe!!! I miss being little!!!

  • Text Guy these days.

  • @INVICTUS14SUCKS

TV shows can't teach anyone how to read, as evidenced by invictus14sucks/valiantskyrider720's comments.

  • oh god it's Tourettes guy again ...InVitro14 needs to get a hobby (or a hobbit)

    LITTLE CAT!

  • @INVICTUS14SUCKS

Are you meaning to tell me that you never liked "Sesame Street" in any form? I find that hard to believe! But to each his (or her) own!

  • @Smartboy8877

He didn't like Sesame Street because he hated to read as a kid. He still hates it.

You can tell by his comments.

  • @invictus14

He might hate to read, but he does not seem to have any problems reading other peoples' comments on this page and responding to them!

  • @INVICTUS14SUCKS

I agree that the "Sesame Street" of today sucks pretty badly! However, back in the day when they would show skits like this, I thought it was great!

  • Kids today are like "why didn't he put a hashtag on that when he was done typing?"

  • @markscudder

    What is a hashtag?

  • Nooony noony, noon, noon.

  • Good thinking, typewriter dude! Classic! He was one of my fave SS characters as a kid. As for the guy who said he wanted to see a brawl between him and a PC-watch Sesame Old School Vol 2. They sort of have something like that at the beginning. They made a bunch of new skits with typewriter guy just for the DVD, and they're hilarious.

  • @maidenrulz1

That is very interesting! I will be sure to take note of that!

  • i miss it all

  • :) loooodeeeelooodeeeloo...

  • Sesame street was so much better back then.

  • Noooooooooooooony noony noony noony noon noon noon!

  • i am so glad i grew up in the 80's!! have you seen katie perry with elmo!!

  • Sesame street is unwatchable now. I hate it for kids of the current generation!

  • @1977SOUTHERNBOY I watched Sesame Street in the nineties, and the seventies/eighties sketches creeped the heck outa me. If they'd provided more modern sketches, I probably would've liked it better.

It's all about keeping the show up to date.

  • "C" for cunts...

  • i want a tattoo of this guy!

  • That guy was such a Sesame Street ICON... I love it. They don't show him on the new episodes, do they? Too bad, because this new generation is REALLY being deprived of quality television. Unreal.

  • the crap that is on tv today for kids to learn from is so demented.....20 years from now I have no idea what to expect.....

  • Picatyel, please fuck off.

  • @ValiantSkyRider720 oh you wouldn't want Morgan Freeman to say that would ya.... lol

  • @TonyBeazley What the fuck's that supposed to mean?

  • @ValiantSkyRider720 you wouldn't want Morgan Freeman to say the f word do ya? Not for little kids to hear.... what a bummer that would be... but then thats "my" most used word too....

  • Oh the good ole days of quality kids' shows! This takes me back!!

  • Nuuuuuu nee nuu nee nuu nee nuu nee nuu nee nuu nee nuu nee nuu. lol I'm reliving my childhood.

  • naked woman @ tha end w/C on her........

  • @venushott She wasn't naked. The C had a brown background covering the girl. That is why she looked like she was naked but really she wasn't.

  • you know type writter is the biggest word you can spell only using the top line on your key board :)

  • i used to watch this when i was little and i always thought the typewriter was ernie in a different form. It's screwy the things that go through kids heads

  • nooooo nee noony noo noo

  • hehe he rocked lol :D

  • Picatyel is some little kid who got abandoned by his seriously alcoholic parents when he was a baby.

  • classic classic ...... i feel old .. lol

  • what the heck was that at the end? a naked kid?

  • Good lord, someone's having a seizure at the end of this video! That's horible

  • ok what was with the little girl like swimming with the C on her

  • BRING'S BACK GOOD MEMMORIE'S

  • I loved the type writer guy newnie newnie

  • neeeeew new neeew neeeww !!!!!!

  • My kids now only watch classic sesame street on youtube. And guess what, they are ACTUALLY LEARNING SOMETHING!!!!!! I mean, honestly, who changed the formula? They should be fired. New sesame street shows SUCK! They should just show the re-runs. Save themselves some money and us a headache. New sesame street is about as educational as Barney. XP

  • @ShaDeSlayerStone It's pretty easy to say that the world misses Jim Henson, because he would never let his beloved muppets be sold to Disney and allow Sesame Street to go CGI

  • @SexxyMessiah Oh....so THAT'S what happened! Hmmm...explains it well enough. I am honestly starting to believe that someone out there actually wants our kids brains to be mush....lol I haven't done any research on this type of thing but I am guessing that something similar happened to Nickelodeon. It all just rots now.

  • @ShaDeSlayerStone cough Illuminati cough

  • lol the last two seconds

lol we're all here from dejobaan

  • who reads readmes anyway

  • lol I got linked to this from Dejobaan too. I thought they were gonna Rickroll me.

  • Dejobaan games linked me this ! O_o

  • AAaaaaAAahaaAAAAhhh

  • DEJOBAAN!!!!

    *shakes fist at the sky*

  • @PatMan335 Its not just me that reads readmes just incase they have something awesome in them :P

  • I totally remember this! Thanks for posting, brings back memories.

  • @picatyel

    You'll never go anywhere,

    you'll never make any money,

and you'll never make a name for yourself.

  • 0:31

    WFT?!

Did Sesame Street actually PUT that last second in there?

  • I'd like to C more of her. :)

  • I loved this guy =)

  • Bert and Ernie are CGI in one little segment that shows what they dream. The rest of the time, all the Muppets are still just as you remember, Matthatter56. And kids at that time didn't think kids' shows were so bad, because we didn't expect TV to totally entertain us...we turned the TV off and played.

  • lol scribblenauts

  • I miss typewriter guy!

  • @MickeyDsgirl typewriter guy rules and he was funny!

  • im smiling ear to ear! i wish i could re live my childhood again-in that time that is!

  • I would hate to be a child in this time because let's be honest childhood shows suck. They are all CGI with digitized music. I mean I passed Sesame Street on TV the other day and I almost died. Bert and Ernie are now CGI no more puppets. Let me state that again Bert and Ernie are CGI. Okay now my childhood is truly dead.

  • Comment removed

  • I was simply saying that it sucks that things are all CGI now. I think it is overused. I think a little CGI now and then is great. EX: Terminator 2. But to have everything be CGI is just ridiculous.

  • Bert and Ernie were my favorites, so sad so see them CGI. I feel bad for the kiddos now, the cartoons that are on TV are so ugly, scary, and repulsive. What happened??

  • 2 words. 4 Kidz.

  • actually, that was: one number and one mispelled word but, I get the point, hee-hee

  • @matthatter56 I agree, I'm never watching Sesame Street again

  • @matthatter56 Just download classic sesame street vids off youtube and you can relive your childhood. lol

  • @matthatter56 Childhood shows clearly didn't work on you.Don't be a hater.

  • @AnandaNanz They obviously don't know what they're talking about! Kid shows from our time didn't "need" the crutch of faulty cgi effects, they just used pure and effective animation. I'm an 80's kid, just about every cartoon back then was amazing!

  • @Orbot If our generations shows were so sad, WHY would a cartoon like Family Guy ALWAYS use skits from ONLY 70's and 80's shows and cartoons... because Seth MacFarlane IS one of us. This new generation doesn't know SHIT when it comes to quality television. I'll take original Transformers and GI Joe cartoons, MASK, the original Electric Company, Force Five Anime, Battle of the Planets, the Superfriends, and He-Man ANYDAY over the bullshit, they show nowadays. LOL

  • @boofdfast Every show u mentioned was INCREDIBLE! They serve as an indication of how memorable the '80's ( I'm an 80's kid!) and even what I can remember of the '70's. I dunno why tv has been flushed down the toilet like it has! I glimpse at some of the stuff on tv today, even the cartoons, and I wanna fall down face 1st and thank GOD I was a kid when I was, lol!

  • @Orbot Amen, brother. ;) At least we had ACTION shows to show us we were men... Knight Rider, Hunter, the A-Team, Miami Vice, SWAT, MacGyver, Stingray, etc. Young girls and women had shows for girls like the Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Gem, the Facts of Life, Laverne and Shirley, etc. Now, we have PUSSYASS bullshit like American Idol, the Bacholerette, Glee(wtf?), Dancing with the stars, Bridezillas, Real Housewives of Who Gives a Rat's Ass, 16 and Pregnant, Jon & Kate plus 8. Unreal :(

  • @boofdfast Lol!! Ture my friend! Some of the cartoons today are on that goofy/doofus, braindead humor type feel! It's like, "I can't believe kids are soaking this in their brains!" I know many of our cartoons were "stimulating," but they were worthwhile, and fun, and YEAH, at the end of many of those cartoons, thery had the "audacity" to actually teach us the MORAL of the story! The live action shows we had WAY outclass the so called "reality" garbage they play today!

  • @Orbot The only cartoons to be remotely cool, and not wimpy or gayass from the 90's till now... are King of the Hill and Cowboy Bebop. Both of those had great writers... cartoons for adults not kids. The live action shows we had in the 80's were You Can't Do That On Television(on Nick) and Cops... which is still going strong since '88. The more informative cartoons are the better kids know... and, "Knowing, is half the battle... GI JOE!!" lol :)

  • @boofdfast Lol!! I must admit tho'! There are atleast a couple of cartoons on today that I'll atleast give alittle respect to, and that's Generator Rex, and Young Justice. The rest I'm either iffy on, or they just straight up suck. I always looked at the 90's as being the LAST time cartoons were actually good, lol! I loved Animaniacs and Hysteria just to name a couple!

  • @Orbot Oh shit, I remember Animaniacs... I also remember, a spinoff of theirs... Pinky and the Brain. That was about 1993. lol I kinda like Total Drama Island and Ben10... but even those suck compared to the epic shows we had back in the 80s and 90s. lol

  • @boofdfast Total Drama Island is kinda crap-ish, I don't even bother with that one. Ben 10 is cool, but oddly enough, I could never get into it! I also forgot to mention That new Avengers cartoon on now. The animation is rather qeustionable tho'! JL and JLU back in the early 2000's was really cool. Still the 80's cartoons reamain the best and most innovative of all!

  • @Orbot Yeah, the people who draw TDI, need new animators... my 3 yr old niece can draw better than that. Nothing compares to the classic cartoons... that's why I go to YouTube for my animation fix. lol

  • @boofdfast Lol, me too, If I can't find any old school cartoons on dvd, I come right here to youtube like u!

  • @matthatter56 I know...it is very sad. This generation will look at this stuff and cluck, "Those poor old fuddies..." Doesn't stop me from loving it! :)

  • @skekso1 Exactly.:)

  • @matthatter56 , they still have puppets. HOWEVER, there is no more Kermit. Everyone can see Snuffy now. They've added "Abby Kadabby" and this crappy CG Flying Fairy School bit and there's about a half hour of Elmo now. It blllloooooooooows. My kids are 5 and 4. We gather 'round the ole YouTube to get the classic Sesame Street. And let me also add, you won't see any serious brain-stimulation going on, either. No more of that "Geometry of Circles" or psychadelic alphabet. Too deep.

  • @matthatter56 CGI? looked like claymation to me...

  • @matthatter56

I agree that the "Sesame Street" of today is pretty bad! The one thing that I am not clear on, however is what CGI stands for. Care to explain?

  • @Smartboy8877 You know to be honest I have no idea what CGI stands for. Basically CGI is animation like Toy Story.

  • @matthatter56

Thank you for the interesting information my friend!

  • @Smartboy8877 computer graphic something....

  • LMAO at the girl at the very end. Hahahaha.

  • HAHAHAH its a 4X4 typewriter with buggy eyes! I miss being a kid, dam I'm an old fart at 40...

  • O.O I haven't thought about this guy in YEARS.

  • what is a typewriter? Looks cool like a monitorless computer

  • "Noooo nee nooo nee noooo...now let me punch myself in the face a few hundred times."

Yet another well intentioned Sesame Street cartoon that creeped me out back in the 70's.

  • I wonder where the Typewriter guy episodes for letters I, O & S are? Can't find them...

  • nuninuninu! I miss this line!

  • LOL To this day I still say "noo nee noo nee noo" all the time.

  • OH MY GOD...

I've been going "noooo nee noooo nee noooo" for days at work...I remembered a character on Sesame Street used to do that but for the life of me I couldn't remember which one.

Thanks to this video, I now know. Now I can sleep easier LOL.

  • oh man this dude was the best

  • wonder what size rims can fit on him

  • Does anybody have the one for N

  • hehe wouldn't be surprised if theres a toy out of this guy

  • I wouldn't be surprised if Sesame Street doesn't show the Typewriter Guy segments any more. Most kids these days wouldn't know what the heck a typewriter is.

  • I dunno, they were on in the '90s, and I once asked someone who babysits if they showed the old animations, and they said yes, almost all of them.

  • Nuu nuu nuu nuu nuu. I want a sesame street brawl between typewritter dude and a PC.

  • I was saying noo nee noo noo noo in the grocery store the other day and a woman in the aisle with me started laughing.

  • I find the lady dressed up like a C more interesting.

  • I'm 19 and I say Noooo nee noo noo ne noo noo

My mom gets mad when I say

  • Why was I always afraid of this typewriter guy???
